fenstermaker family fenstermaker family monday january 10 2011 john isaiah fenstermaker we welcomed john isaiah fenstermaker into the world on november 19 2010 he was born at 1 05 am and weighed 7lbs 13oz he was 21 inches long and very unhappy to be cold some of you may not know but john actually delivered him it was a great experience it was like john went into doctor mode and totally tuned out that it was me or his son he did such a great job and was totally calm i did pretty well myself i pushed 3x and he was here he was nice and stuck to my regular 6 hr labors we weren t even induced it was great isaiah is now 7 weeks old and is growing way too fast he weighed 10lbs 14oz two weeks ago and was 22 1 2 inches long so now i m sure we re headed toward 12 lbs crazy boy he is such a joy in our family the girls love him to pieces and are constantly kissing him i have to tell them to leave him alone daddy likes him a lot he s so funny with him he says he doesn t act different with him compared to the girls but he does isaiah s his little buddy i like him lots too we had a great christmas together as a family and have been missing john while he s been in boise doing a peds pediactric rotation he has one more month and then he gets to come back home it s hard being apart but we manage the girls are all doing well makayla is being an awesome 2nd grader and olyvia is conquering kindergarten addi is my huge helper at home and loves to play with her sisters whenever possible so that s us in a nutshell so far we hope you all have a wonderful new year hopefully i ll do a little better this year keeping everyone updated posted by fenstermaker family at 4 20 pm 2 comments wednesday july 7 2010 it s a boy yes it s true we re having a boy i think it s still sinking in for us all the girls are ecstatic and of course so is daddy i m pretty happy too john kept asking if they were sure and my doctor said oh we re sure you tell john it s nice and big that ll make him happy we found out also that i have placenta previa which puts me and the baby at risk so i m on the take it easy prescription placenta previa is where the placenta is blocking my cervix opening and if it doesn t move i will have to have a c section but it could move as the baby grows so let s hope for that the reason for the take it easy is because if i lift or do something strenuous the placenta could abrupt and tear therefore causing bleeding or hemorrhaging so my instructions are to take it easy with 3 kids and an absentee husband ok but i will be as careful as possible to get our little boy here so there s the update sorry if it s too graphic but then you don t have to wonder what it is thanks for all your love and support we ll keep you updated posted by fenstermaker family at 7 30 pm 3 comments friday may 21 2010 moving again hello all yes we are still alive there s so much to blog and no time at all so i thought i d just throw a quick post out there john will be graduating from dmu next saturday may 29th and will be an official doctor yea we are so proud of him and can t wait for residency luckily we won t have to wait long as soon as we get back he has 2 weeks of solitude and then it all hits the fan literally i pretty much don t have a husband until about february except 1 week in november so we can have our baby oh by the way for those of you who don t know we are expecting i m due november 23rd i will keep you all updated when we find out what it is think blue we are moving to pocatello id so john can do his residency there for 3 years and then who knows where we ll end up but do you know what that means no moving for 3 years hip hip hooray so excited for that makayla just finished 1st grade with flying colors and will be a mighty 2nd grader next year yikes she s getting so big and is pretty helpful to us but sassy oh dear teenage years not going to be pretty olyvia will be in kindergarten in the fall aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa my little yummies is growin up i think she s excited but those of you who know olyvia her personality is more whatever addi ohhhhh addi she is getting so big and starting to say whatever the heck she wants she is the funniest kid we re never bored when she s around and her kisses melt us every time she is so lovey and sweet but naughty and mischievous she loves playing outside with her sisters and playing pretend she s usually the dog so that s a sum of our lives currently nothing too exciting but definitely some different chapters coming up hopefully after the move i can keep up we ll see take care all posted by fenstermaker family at 8 36 pm 1 comment tuesday september 1 2009 before we moved sorry it s been so long fellow bloggers and followers what a summer we have been crazy busy with moving and john starting his 4th year it s been nuts but things are starting to regulate not slow down but regulate and we are on our way to graduation in 9 months whoo hoo anyway i wanted to post a few things from before we left ohio first of all big thanks to our family that came out to help in doing so grandpa fenstermaker got to go to school with each of the girls they were very excited olyvia wanted grandpa to take her to the bus for her last time he then got to go have snack with her class it was pajama day at school that day it was a busy day because he also visited makayla s class that day also a few heartfelt moments from the missionaries telling john how much they d miss him elder kohler and elder parrish all in all ohio was a great experience even though it was short lived it was still fun we also had some of our friends from idaho come and visit us a couple of weeks before we moved the murdocks who are currently in pittsburgh pa we can t wait till we all reunite in idaho some day for some reason this is the only picture i have of their stay ahh aren t tyson and john cute more posts to come hopefully i can catch up take care out there also we will be going private in the fenstermaker s are still alive the girls and i arrived in idaho at the end of april and left our sweet daddy and husband behind for 6 weeks he had to finish up a rotation in ohio before he could join us the funny thing about all this was his family didn t think he d be coming until july we fooled them his sister trisha was in on our little secret and decided to have a family bbq on may 31st which was the day john would be home so my crazy husband drove from chicago on saturday and straight thru the night to arrive at my parents house at 9 a m sunday morning the girls didn t know he was coming either and were sooooooooo excited to see him addi had a to warm up a little bit first but at the end of the day was fine anyway so we take off that afternoon to his sisters house in blackfoot i thought for sure they would see him in the front seat but they didn t so he hurried and jumped out and ran to the side of the house i got the kids and food out and went around to the deck where everyone was and said i have horrible news everyone just stopped and had horrified looks on their faces especially his parents john can t come home in july what they all screamed the school won t allow him to come until september you ve got to be kidding me his mom yelled what their reasoning i don t know they just told him he couldn t rotate here until he finished in ohio right then john came around the corner his dad dropped the bbq tongs in shock and his mom started to cry and scream it was great we are so sneaky so we are currently living with my parents and waiting to move into a home near rexburg in about 3 weeks we are so excited to have a home of our own again but cannot express the gratitude toward my parents for their generosity and patience our cell phones have changed so
