the thompson family skip to main skip to sidebar the thompson family wednesday may 15 2013 our precious millie i haven t blogged for quite awhile a lot has happened in our little family we now have a sweet new spirit that has joined us millie was born may 5 2013 at 4 50 p m she is so sweet she has her mom and dad wrapped around her little finger we love her so much millie was breech for a while and was born with something called hip dysplasia which apparently is quite common in first born females that are breech however nate and i and our families aren t as familiar with it millie is one tough little girl though she had quite a busy first week of life she has already seen 3 doctors one of them being dr stevens at primary children s they all assure us that she will be fine but still it is hard on her momma millie has to wear a harness that helps her hips stay where they need to we have to go back to salt lake the end of june for a checkup we are praying that she will be in the 85 of the cases that the harness fixes they say that she will adapt to the harness a lot faster then her parents will i never thought this mom thing could be so hard on the heart i love that little girl so much we are so grateful that she is in our family and she is already so spoiled i just wanted to share some pictures with everyone of my sweet little baby first picture with mom and dad our little this blogthis share to x share to facebook share to pinterest monday february 27 2012 i love to see the temple we had the best sacrament meeting on sunday the spirit was so strong in the meeting sister hoopes talked to us about be still and listen she told us how todays world is a total rush i agree with her completely she said that even when people go to the temple they are in a hurry with errands to run before and after it was so good to be reminded that we need to take the time to do the things that are right take time to say meaningful prayers take time to read and study our scriptures and words of the prophet and take the time to go to the house of the lord and take the time to prepare to go there so we are ready to do the work that needs to be done some little kids sang i love to see the temple it is so amazing that a simple primary song can bring the spirit so strong i had tears in my eyes just listening to the words i am so grateful that i was able to be married in the temple and be able to receive the blessings from attending as much as we can we are so blessed to live so close to a beautiful temple and i do admit that i think we take that for granted sometimes and do need to be better about going more often i m glad that we had the opportunity to have that great reminder on sunday and am going to try to take advantage of being so close to the temple posted terrible it has been a fast year and a lot has happened in the last year my mom and dad decided to stay home this winter it has been an awesome winter for idaho its been quite warm and hardly no snow but to catch you up on the last year i graduated from massage therapy school in december and have been working for my dad until i am able to find a job i am actually starting wednesday at dr mellor s office he is a chiropractor and i am so excited because that is the direction that i wanted to take my massage career also we added 2 little girls to the family kegan and whitt had a little girl named marley she is so much fun kenz and andy also had a little girl named jerzi she definitely has a good serious face that makes all of us smile her brothers love her so much our family doubled in kids this last year its so fun to have the little ones around also our sister in law katie justins wife is pregnant with a little girl so many babies just not any coming our way for awhile we love our nieces and nephews we are still living in teton we really enjoy it here the people we rent from had twin boys we hear them but it is still the cute little cry nate is currently laid off for a little while he has been helping my dad with whatever he needs i quite enjoy it cuz i get to see him a lot ha ha and to be honest i think my dad will be sad to see him go back to work we had a great holiday season its nice to live close to both families so we usually get to see everybody also i turned 21 yahoo lol we went to vegas with my dad to a show 2 days after my birthday and of course got carded ha ha i had to go get my license and everything but i was legal we are just plugging away and loving life we cant wait for spring so we can start riding and roping outside at my dads like i said its been share to x share to facebook share to pinterest monday march 21 2011 spring fever well i think we all have spring fever around here its so close we are all trying to get things cleaned up before my parents come home in 4 weeks wow some people would say thats along time but for me and nate its not that long because we have to find a place to live and get moved out crazy that was a fast 4 months i have been going to school for about a month and am loving it its so fun so if you need a massage call me lol nate is still working and will start again in idaho falls which will be super nice it will be good to have him around more often we are all craving to be able to ride outside and to be able to start doing what we love again outside i did go to a barrel race last week for the first time in six months me and handcock have been kinda hit and miss with both of us being laid off for months at a time but hopefully we are past all that and it will be up from here it was fun to just go fast again but we can not wait to be able to rope and ride and everything in our back arena slowly but surely spring is coming well thats all for now pray for spring posted by thompsons at 6 30 pm no in one my cute little tuff well what a week it was my birthday on sunday and then valentines on monday to say the least it was a pretty good week it even started early on friday nate and i went to hamer where nate told me we had to pick up a ball for our new truck well we pulled in and he says to me happy birthday we are here to get you a puppy of course i thought he was just teasing me but he was serious so i think i got the best birthday valentines day present ever we named him tuff and he is such a good puppy he is a mini australian shepherd and he is a little fir ball we love him and nate lets him ride with him on the tractor i had a wonderful birthday we had some family come over for cake and ice cream it was fun i even got really spoiled by family in soda we definitely missed my parents but they called and were here in spirit then for valentines day after work and school we just kept it simple and we got to go eat with nate s cousin jr it was a good evening now its all over back to everyday life thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday and a special thanks to my wonderful husband i love my little puppy loves to give kisses to nash tired after a long day at play
