a k a k february 27 2016 7 months old xan man 7 you are officially closer to 1 than your birth i often find myself just watching you shocked i have a little boy moving around this month was a fun one of growth and new tricks dad loves your noise yea yea yea with your tight little face you take 3 naps a day and go to bed around 8 30 you are so so happy you are ticklish and let our big belly laughs and squeals every time you love to move your arms when you eat when you nurse or in your high chair you hit and hit you moved into size 3 diapers and wear 9 month clothes your hands want to touch everything and put everything to your mouth you are doing really well with solids if we put it to your mouth you ll eat it you love the teething crackers and are starting to pick up and put melts in your mouth you often tough talk when you are playing and concentrating you have watched lots of basketball and stared this soft little bird noise when relaxed in the stroller i would say it s been by this month was a big one i feel like you really went from our little baby boy to an alert active growing little boy this month you tried peas and prunes raspberry noise mastered 5 1wk you roll so much more this week first week of nights with dad but by the end of three days you are sleeping 9 pm to 6 am rolling back and forth trying to move on your belly you found a high pitched scream 1 15 first bottom tooth broke through you sort of make a growling noise while you eat or bring things to your mouth you scarf any and all fruit you have two teeth now can sit pretty well with a pillow behind you for when you get too excited and throw back went to your first movie in the theater the martian nurse speedy quick enjoy stroller walks still so hot and sweaty especially when you re sleeping posted by karalee and austin no comments january 6 2016 5 months old dear xan man you are 5 months old baby boy you are not our little squishy infant but a growing baby boy dad thinks you recognize your name now you started getting so excited when i lay you back to nurse you have a pretty cute pouty face with a big pouty lip you have learned a new high pitched squeal and just stared like a growl you are so ticklish and still love to smile you have started to tripod sit and do pretty well until you re tired you started solid foods this month you have tired oatmeal bananas and sweet potatoes and seem to really like them we have finally oops started to read more to you and you get so excited and kick your legs through each story you are eating now at 9pm and then 5am with a couple binky runs in between you are eating 6oz bottle every 3 4 hours you are a strong little one rolling front to back mostly still not moving around the room we will enjoy these last few weeks of having you sit in one place your hair is pretty light and still sticks straight up soft and fluffy with big blue eyes you like to hold your body very straight you are strong we celebrated your first snow and christmas you have brought so much love and happiness into our home making this holiday season extra special watching you experience our traditions for the first time seeing things through xander boy four baby boy i think this may be a favorite we have really gotten to see your sweet personality this month you have the biggest happiest smile that you share often and giggle you have the cutest head of fuzzy hair that stands straight up bright blue eyes you roll front to back like a pro working on back to front you have figured out your bottles and love to nurse you love to cuddle your face into anything when falling asleep turned completely in if held you can put yourself to sleep in your sleep slack you like your binky you love bath time and i think you re finding hadley more you re hands are in your mouth most of the day you will sit in your jumper now and thankfully sit content in your car seat most the time you hate getting out of the bath the nose frieda and have officially conquered your first 2 5 week cold you saw your first snow celebrated your first halloween and thanksgiving you will still snuggle up to mommy and let me hold you as long as i want i wouldn
