every day skip to main skip to sidebar every day a little ride to the pumpkin patch sunday november 16 2014 annie jr abby had a wonderful time playing annie in annie jr a few weeks ago she put a ton of time and energy into this and the whole show turned out so cute we loved watching the play and are so proud of her the directors actually double cast most of the lead roles so we also got to watch her new friend sophie play annie another night she was also fantastic here s a little clip of tomorrow this is where warbucks and annie talk about finding her parents a little acting and a little singing for you some pictures before the show annie and miss hannigan get into character it is the hard knock life out on the streets after her escape just about to find sandy at mr warbucks home going to the movies charlotte takes 5 nyc just plain cute after the show with the cast her sisters find her it was really fun to celebrate after the first performance she was all smiles pretty sure her face hurt afterward here s the gang grandma and grandpa came out for the show that was just plain awesome the directors put a page titled autographs at the end of the program and a couple kids actually came and asked her for one that caught her off guard and she just about died with smiles and laughter posted by katie at 11 08 pm 1 comments thursday april 3 2014 april fools 2014 we always have a good time here on april fools day here s the skinny i stuffed tissue in the toes of everyone s shoes i set the two kitchen clocks 20 minutes fast that is panic inducing for sure i put salt in the kids water bottles that they took to school i put a thin slice of celery in everyone s peanut butter sandwiches for dinner we had just the right amount of milk in the jug enough to serve not too much to waste so i added some mint extract andrew actually liked his and drank it daniel had quite the opposite reaction andrew and the girls painted my bar of soap with clear nail polish preparing the night before crafty little buggers well a coated soap won t suds up it was quite a funny thing the kids hid a bunch of things hand soap tooth brushes floss hair brushes leftover cake candy eliza put andrew s underwear around the house abby and eliza wrapped daniel s laptop and my book in saran wrap abby and her friends saran wrapped two chairs together at the leg at school their teacher was in on it and made it a funny moment for everyone of course he got them back and taped their desks to their chairs at the legs it was a pretty funny day posted by katie at 9 02 am 0 comments tuesday april 1 2014 i love you uncle bill part one bill gave charlotte an oregon state sweatsuit for christmas long ago well now it fits and she knows it s from uncle bill we used to call it her sweat suit now when she calls it her uncle suit part two we ve been singing a ditty from a musical which one lately it s something like we love you conrad oh yes we do we love you contrad it s true when you re not near us we re blue oh conrad we love you so of course we sing it with other people s names and uncle bill seems to be charlotte s favorite enjoy this little ditty in two parts first is her singing tuesday january 7 2014 fun with water in the bitter cold a video inspired ok we pretty much copied them by my sister in law and brother in utah this is how we entertain ourselves in wisconsin when we due to snow a week ago we took this time to finally watch the nativity a full length movie of the birth of jesus some parts of the movie were rough a lot of violence and cruelty from king herod this was hard for the kids to take during one peaceful scene the three wise men were traveling on their camels and having a conversation with each other abby said to the family i don t like this movie pause pause then one wise man said to another neither do i the timing was perfect the laughter was plentiful tonight we had the elders and sister missionaries over for dinner we were eating a nice meal of ham mashed potatoes salad and fruit during a quiet moment charlotte politely said more apple pie we all busted up laughing abby never knew she could even say apple pie i soon figured out the
