hello with me we all hope your day was grand there are 9 panels to the garland these were made using pion designs fairytale of spring paper collection from a few years ago i ve been hoarding it until now the rosettes are made from fantastic heavy weight crepe paper it s like nothing i ve seen before and i m over the moon about it i found it at castles in the air thanks to my fabo riffic sister 2013 the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray thank you robert burns hello hello how about another easter themed card i wanted to share all of them before easter but you know life got in the way wink this is made with bo bunny s vicky b paper pad lovely bright colors looks like tilda is having fun painting all the eggs the stripey panel on the right is permanent it doesn t pull out or anything i m not sure what i was thinking except i knew i wanted to see the stripes as a result i had to make the gift box rectangular instead of square no big deal i m not sure if you can see the glossy effect on the top left circle panels front and inside i covered the circles with glossy accents and set coordinating dew drops remember those in the wet ga it s a neat effect thanks for have 4 more easter cards to share with you phew how pretty is this little one she s taking her favorite lamb for a walk and she just might be passing your house right now i used basic grey s marjolaine 6x6 pad for this card and it s matching gift box i can t get enough of the blue green combination and this pad has had some really nice ones tilda and lambie are layered and popped off the already has a collection of eggs ready to hide for her friends the papers on this card are pion design s fairytale of spring tilda is colored with faber castell s yummy albrecht durer watercolor pencils i ll be using these a lot more the bench is color with prismacolor pencils still a favorite there s a tag tucked in on the right side with loads of flowers to pull the tag out large panel for magnolia s tilda with an easter lamb hello hello more easter and more tilda cuteness coming at you today i used two magnolia stamps for this card standing tilda in front of an open gate i love this card and it might be my favorite of all the easter cards or maybe the next one i post will be hahaha i used the last bits of my graphic 45 once upon a springtime papers and loads of lovely prima and wild orchid crafts flowers the seam binding is threaded through a vintage mother of pearl button from my collection tilda the sweet little lamb and even the fence and flowers are layered for a 3 i have another easter card to share with you today i ve been having fun making these little ladies i think this tilda is my all time favorite because of her hat i want a hat just like hers see the pearl brad on the coral flower i thought it looked a little too formal so i put bisque liquid pearls dots on it now it s fun i also used a magnolia tree stamp and make it into a cherry tree to complement the cherry design on the base layer funny that the cherries are barely visible on the finished card ha tilda bunny and tree are all cut out and layered the plaid lines on the pants were done with a copic multiliner pen and everything was colored with prismacolor pencils papers are all from the my mind s eye fine dandy tickled pink collection it s perfectly springy thanks for visiting 2013 tilda s easter chick hi crafty friends i ve been working on magnolia easter cards lately and want to share one with you today i used my mind s eye s indie chic 6x6 papers prima and petaloo paper flowers and a gorgeous hand crocheted flower from willow folk tilda and her little chick are layered and pop off the card front she s quite proud of her little friend here s a detail from the inside today i have our latest dz doodles challenge for you the dz doodles design team was challenged this week to create a project with the distressing technique i ve dabbled a little with it in the past with decent results on this card i decided to kick it up a notch i had tears in the paper and my edges were rougher than ever before then i added another layer and it covered up a lot grin still i m pretty happy with the results i also distressed some edges with ink a must do on all my projects this darling little girl is the easter bonnet digi her hat and basket are popped up and i added stickles glitter on the hat her collar and the basket ribbon for a little umfph i m in love with cosmo cricket papers this is from the early bird collection called farmer s market i used a sketch challenge for this card and needed at sentiment i knew i wanted a tag so i just printed my sentiment on card stock and traced the tag shape i think i should have layered it or distressed the edges it needs something down in that bottom right corner maybe i ll fill it in with a pearl swirl i m open to suggestions oh and the lace is sewn on after i sewed the edges all around i folded over the edge of the lace and slowly sewed straight across as i went i scrunched it up to give it the ruffled look so now it s your turn to show us your distressing technique here s how make any kind of project floored and honored and speechless right now thanks so much ladies hello hello i hope you had a wonderful spring weekend i spent mine at grandma s where the crocus and daffodils are blooming and brightening the otherwise dreary landscape it was a cold weekend here in maryland but the sun shined bright can you believe it s already easter here in our beary scrappy neighborhood the eggs are hidden and the kids are ready to hunt here s sweet tilda patiently waiting for the ok she doesn t have far to look does she i ve used easter paper from best creation and boy was it a treat it s a nice weight and has just the right balance of glittery shiny and flat i didn t feel the need to add a single drop of anything shiny to the paper now that s a time saver i distressed the small blue layer with scissors and lightly inked edges of all the best creation papers with chalk ink i really like colorbox chalk inks because of their layering capabilities once a layer is dried another layer can be added on top much like coloring with copics or pencils the layers blend together well and dry to a soft matte finish the cat s eye stamp pad is perfectly sized to dab quickly around the edges tilda is colored with pencils and her skirt is double layered with a touch of lace her trim is touched with stickles and she s raised up on glue dots for added dimension i cut out small glittered eggs from the easter words card stock chalk inked the edges and tucked them into the grass on glue dots i used my trusty sewing machine to finish the edges challenges midnight madness 46 sketch fussy and fancy 7 easter totally paper crafts 9 pink and green magnolia down under 39 stitching card recipe stamp magnolia s sweet tilda paper bazzill guacamole and an unknown brilliant blue best creation easter words
