my stitching diary skip to main skip to sidebar my stitching diary i ve always been kind of bad with keeping a record of what i stitch and when and it s also hard to show my friends and family what i do with my spare time this is a great way for me to accomplish both things now i just need to remember to write often in it monday october 13 2008 backstitch is done on my wip i still have the rest of the border to cross stitch then the whole border to outline which is going to be a lot of work and a lot more back stitching than the top half which i just finished i plan to make this into a large pinkeep to hang up since there will be little ornaments to put on this i cannot put it in a frame i hope it turns out okay posted by kim at monday october 13 2008 2 comments thursday october 9 2008 my first scissor keep i made this for an enchange i took part in on the wocs forum i had a hard time parting with it because i love the design and i must say it turned out pretty good for a first attempt but i m just excited i can do this posted by kim at thursday october 09 2008 no comments wednesday october 8 2008 wow it s been 4 months it s been 4 months since i last wrote on this blog but i really haven t accomplished too much stitching wise i was very busy preparing for my wedding which took place august 2 2008 and also i was trying to finish a project to help out a woman who is making a cross stitch book unfortunately i didn t even have time to finish that before the due date i m just going to hang on to it and complete it for her to use in one of her future books i pulled my christmas one back out and have been working on that for the past month although i look almost done i am far from finished i cannot put any wip pics up because i have lost the charger to my camera s battery and it s a special battery so you will have to do without pics for now it is a christmas advent calendar that the kids would really enjoy participating in so i will be disappointed if it s not finished on time i am itching to get it done posted by kim at wednesday october 08 2008 no comments monday june 9 2008 got a little stitching done over the past few weeks but unfortunately will not post the pics for a couple of weeks months i have been working on all my exchange pieces and it s a secret so i cannot post a pic until after the reveal i made a pinkeep for the very first time i enjoyed it but will have to get better at it that way i can make lots and have lots of nice ones i also made a scissor keep which i had a hard time mailing away it was so nice i just wanted to keep it for myself hopefully my partner likes it that s the important part i started on a christmas calendar for the kids not much done on it to post a wip but will soon i am liking it but hating it at the same time there is so much red i figure i ll get the bulk of it done now that way i don t have to go back to it posted by kim at monday june 09 2008 no comments thursday may 22 2008 it s been a while wow it s been a while since i ve posted anyting new on my blog well the mario and luigi chart i have been working on for my son is almost done i just need to go to michael s so i can get a color that i need to fill in the blank squares i also did a little bookmark that i recevied from nkbabe from the wocs forum it was very nice of her to send and i had to start it right away because it is so cute i have also been working on the next piece for the calendar cats rr almost ready to post it off and i am also ready to post off the pinkeep for the pinkeep exchange i am in so now do you see why i haven t been posting anything new i ve been too busy stitching i found a pic of footprints that i did a couple years ago i gave it to my priest as a gift for baptizing me posted by kim at thursday may 22 2008 1 comment sunday april 27 2008 a completed ufo i spent the week taking care of my two sick children who were home from school all week so i didn t get as much stitching in as i would have liked however i did finish the last supper i just finished it last night after that i started on my pinkeep for the exchange and also started on a mario and luigi design for my son i will take a wip later on when i have a few more stitches in i also received my just because gift during the week it is really cute there is also 2 more sides to it that i could put a picture of my kids in or something like
