finale the film was completely devoid of any emotion they deserved at least an embrace a desperate long awaited one full of love the desire to protect and to love forever perhaps with tears but tears of relief as well as the longing from a long separation yowlthinks 1d it has been a few days and i am finally ready to put my thoughts about the good omens finale into words the fact of the matter is the above is what was missing aziraphale and crowley deserved a proper conversation i am not too hung up about the kiss what i am upset about is that they never had an honest direct conversation with each other that conversation seemed to be starting but then would always just stop somewhere on medium heat that culmination of all things unspoken never came aziraphale mentions how crowley was the best angel and artist and never says outright that he has never stopped being inquisitive and curious and that it is not about being an angel or a demon it is about being a person aziraphale never tells crowley he loves him he sort of tells it to god but not to crowley i am upset they never got a hug just like on the image above to at least be able to pour all those unsaid things into an embrace into being each other s anchors a proper conversation a confessoon a hug it would have made the ending bearable i am ready to forget and forgive all the plotholes all the hooks that were set up and never triggered i get it they had five times less time then needed but i don t get how in those 90 minutes they could not find 20 30 seconds for a hug i do not agree that this kamikaze ending is a good one or that it aligns with the overall feeling of the story but i would have probably had an easier time accepting it if our ineffable husbands at least got closure i am glad that at least part of the fandom is happy with the ending this is good some happy people are always better then no happy people at all but to me this finale is an answer to why there was never a second book and that is because what we got in the original story is a critique of religion poking fun at the higher powers and huge love for humanity and our world and i very much like the idea of an angel and a demon being present somewhere in our world doing pretty much nothing at all and leaving it all up to us humans just as they have done for all these millenia iforgiveyouprime 1d i absolutely agree wtf
