kittentach on tumblr explore communities change palette sign up log in death and destruction until further notice kittentach follow posts likes following comments kittentach reblogged goldcrescent follow it s easy to think the literacy crisis is a recent development until you remember churches all around the english speaking world were playing hozier s take me to church back in 2012 and constantly sending him requests to come sing it for big events and he kept having to be like did anyone listen to a word i said and they d say yeah you wanna go to church 364 17 389 34 436 kittentach reblogged techs sideblog hazard symbols that fuck hard follow just learned about farming simulator i mean i already knew about it but i just learned about it did you know that the target audience for farming simulator is actual real world farmers because i didn t i just assumed that farmers probably don t want to go home from a day of farming to do some presumably highly inaccurate virtual farming like imagine if the target audience for power washing simulator was actual professional power washers farming sim gets sponsored by companies and shit to put ads in their games but since the game is for farmers all of the ads target farmers advertising products that realistically only farmers would be interested in aka john deere tractors and shit there s a fucking farming sim esports league where do they play agriculture conventions not gaming conventions agriculture conventions hazard symbols that fuck hard post cancelled this is way funnier loaf of toast my buddy who is a farmer has the type of planter that drives itself across the field using gps at a steady speed and he just needs to turn it around at the end of each row he added a little folding desk to his chair and plays farming simulator on it while he plants hazard symbols that fuck hard okay playing farming simulator while farming is crazy needsmoreexplosions 125 51 118 57 243 kittentach reblogged what even is thiss follow sometimes you ll come across people in the language learning community that say you shouldn t read fantasy books or other books with useless vocabulary early on and frankly those losers are gonna be way behind when the wizards try to take over read whatever you want what even is thiss this obsession that some people have with optimizing their language learning experience and also trying to force that mindset upon others is just not helpful learning a language takes an absurdly long time why not have fun doing it what even is thiss i m really interested in literature and i wanna get to the point in spanish where i can read miguel cervantes and whatnot without a dictionary and the last time i talked about that on here people kept being like oh there s so much antiquated language in those kinds of books though why would you read that and it s like i dunno dude maybe because i like books with antiquated language did you ever think of that 23 798 3 724 kittentach manda kat follow i have been given a duck 2 1 16 kittentach reblogged allegraforchrist follow lovecraftian and eldritch horrors don t make me feel uneasy it s not hard to fathom evils beyond our comprehension we look at the evil man does everyday and wonder to ourselves how we could commit or tolerate such evils and to imagine based on the vastness of the universe and the depth of the ocean to locate how long this evil or the power of such could exist for based on our recorded history is astounding but to me to imagine and comprehend a god who suffered the same as you who endured the weight and brutality of every sin of every transgression of every wrong done by every man woman and child throughout recorded history across all cultures all folklore and all myth his story is proven to be the truth and to still have mercy toward us not because he is powerful and he needs us to worship him for his glory but because he is love he is the love we write tragedies about we cry and toil over in our minds we describe as being the cavity in our being that it is the sum of everything we both cannot touch and cannot see and can touch and can see that is the greatest horror to me that is what makes me uneasy a god who i am made in the image of whom i have desecrated and wounded not just through my flesh but the flesh of his holy son to have put him in the grave yet he still lives he calls to me and he still loves me he rises above all logic and moral we esteem ourselves as higher than animals and not without faithfully challenging and expanding all logic and moral that is beyond my comprehension that is beyond me that is the horror to be loved eternally by the love you cannot retain by your own power you cannot save by your own hands nor can you convert by your own holiness in this lifetime that love is who you are part of and he wants you to return despite how much you have tried to change it to mend it to brutalize it for your own pleasure and sense he wants you he is god and he wants to know you to welcome you to suffer with you that scares me that breaks me that makes me see how much i truly don t understand the height and depth of anything and everything everything we esteem as beautiful and right and good is him and we could never be such alone that he doesn t need us he never needed us yet we need him because we want him who and what we are that is kind good gentle patient humble safe faithful compassionate and desire for righteousness is him and we need him even if we are evil beyond reproach we still need him for mercy for correction and for comfort beyond understanding of circumstance and purpose edit and that he was a person a person who endured all things as we do to fulfill the weight of a covenant the very words god esteems above himself that never fall to the ground or fall away or wither over time but he the christ stood the test of time the test of faith and the test of man in all his weakness and expectations he withstood it all and fulfilled it all he fulfilled the perfect and complete work of faith 8 14 kittentach reblogged dogpuppy follow 22 690 5 015 kittentach reblogged unreformedcarrots follow 102 17 936 36 445 kittentach reblogged anscathmarcach inbabylontheywept follow i am banned from eating my herring inside they make me eat it on the smoking area by the loading dock under the theory that it already smells bad there but it was raining today which was preventing my breakfast so i was feeling sad and hungry and then i realized that there was a large cardboard box in the dumpster from a previous delivery like a fridge sized box so i fished it out of the dumpster then tipped it on its side and had a nice little cardboard cave to watch the rain and eat my fish in which was a great experience very soothing very zen at least until the security guard from the day before stepped outside to smoke then i tried hiding from him by crawling deeper in the box which unfortunately did not work instead he saw a sort of damp sniveling pale hairless creature eating fish in a box and delivered the verbal killshot of good morning mr smeagol which is how my day was ruined before 8 am 135 32 959
