this card is for a friend under the weather there s nothing like a warm cup of tea with honey to help you through a day of sniffles that s a la dee dah moment i am glad that carrie gaskin had as sketch challenge this week to help me design this card this week s ka pow kkc02 challenge was of the following design stamp sets take a sip word play ink early espresso stampin write markers early espresso crumb cake soft suede sahara sand card stock early espresso very vanilla soft suede and more soft suede striped ribbon large tag punch small tag punch decorative label punch circle punch neutral brads hemp twine technique tip the stampin around wheel take a sip was transformed into a stamp by cutting it at the seam and mounting it on clear mount cling foam it was used to stamp the summer to fall this beautiful sunflower background stamp is the star of this simple card i stamped it once on the card and on again on a quarter sheet of card stock and cut out after coloring in the 27 2011 long legged giraffe last march i made a giraffe card below based off of another demonstrator s idea her name is kellie paxton as a demonstrator we share each other s ideas and post them on stampin connection which is for stampin up demonstrators kellie gets credit for the origianal idea and then i added a la dee dah touch last week i decided to make the long legged giraffe and add it to flying on the inside of the card die cut a 3 circle out of the window sheet with the big shot cut a spiral in the circle add a piece of sticky strip or mini glue dots put in center of circle stick to inside bottom of the card place another piece of sticky strip of mini glue dot on the start of the spiral of the circle and close the card to stick it to the inside top of the card open your card and french foliage turtle co along with the toucan 3d project these were the 3 cards from september s card class i have 2 classes 1 00 7 00 on one friday each month technique tip the turtle spins around by punching a hole in the card stock smaller than the penny but larger than a dimensional put a penny on the backside of the hole place a stampin dimensional on top of the penny and then another penny cut out with my big shot her ears are made out of the butterfly die i used concord crush whisper white and basic black the designer paper is concord crush in color patterns isn t it a nice surprise to dee dah day this morning while chatting with a few demonstrators the topic of blogs came up i don t know if it was a literal challenge but it is indeed a challenge for me blogging i am a stampin up independant demonstrator and have a business web site but don t post there often i thought i would give it a try last week at my monthly card class we made a 3d project using the new cello bags from the current mini catalog i made a video to share yesterday and my la dee dah moment was the excitement from other su demonstrators who enjoyed the tutorial so i will share it here here are the 3
