my girls for a min they are my world how did i get so lucky to have 2 beautiful girls gracie cracks me up every day with one liners ellie would cuddle with me all day if i let her i am so grateful they have each other hopefully someday they will grow up to love one another like i love my sisters there is a special bond there for sure gracie s current milestone is that she has gone 3 nights in a row with a dry pull up so now she gets what she calls tangled long hair a tangled wig which was her prize for dry pull ups ellie is currently crawling everywhere and makes a squawking screaming noise when she is really happy it s usually when she sees her sister again i a so blessed for the opportunity to raise these girls with a wonderful husband posted by liz zac at 11 02 pm 2 comments friday september 14 2012 dreaming we are currently living in my parents basement to hopefully soon get into the house of our dreams we traded in our 2010 car for a 1997 truck so we could have smaller monthly payments and have better debt to income our renters called us and said that the microwave in the unit went out i am really hoping there is a big light the end of the tunnel it s a rough road to get a head in life we are certainly grateful for my parents for leting us live with them until we are able to get into a house but in the meantime i can dream right i want a rambler with a bonus room hard wood floors with a beautiful kitchen i want a salon attatched to my house so i don t have to wash people s hair in my kitchen sink i want a backyard with a trampoline and a swing set for the girls i want to be able to blast my music as loud as i want i decided i can do hard things to make it so we can soon live in our dream home posted by liz zac at 11 25 pm no comments tuesday september 11 2012 sept 11 today is september 11th i will never forget that morning my sister emily came running down into my room telling me the pentagon had just been hit by a bomb we jumped out of bed and turned the tv on we then watched the devastating news of what really happened since i had slept in and was supposed to be in school i got ready for the day and headed out to school i remember feeling so sad and there was a distinct eerie feeling everywhere you went just one week beforehand i had seen zac at the airport because he was boarding his flight to leave the mtc and head to ukraine to serve his mission since it was before 9 11 we were able to say goodbye to him at the terminal obviously its all changed now in most of my classes the teachers had the tv on watching the events of the day thank you to all of the september 11th heros and my heart aches for those who lost loved ones its hard to imagine it happened 10 years ago posted by liz zac at 3 57 pm no comments saturday september 8 2012 byu season byu season not football season but byu season because it s all i hear about starting in september i didn t realize how big of a byu fan my husband was until after we were married i remember in the 1st couple months of our marriage zac and i got season tickets together and i think i lasted 1 or 2 games max i was bored out of my mind luckily 2 of my sisters also married major byu fans and so they all got season tickets together it s a fun tradition to have i dress up me and the girls in byu attire on game day to support daddy this year zac is going to multiple games out of state this month he is going to boise and next month he is taking a trip with his dad and 2 of our brother in laws to a notra dame game i m happy that my husband has a passion for something wholesome and fun computer and finding pictures from years back always brings back good memories amy s wedding amy emily and me as kidlets my fist day of beauty school zac and i on valentines day a long time ago my senior pictures don t ask about the hair emily and i pretending to be brittany spears me and zac post mission before engagement i think this last picture is of me when i was 3 i had just got back from the baby contest at the freedom provo festival posted by liz zac at 10 56 pm no comments thursday september 6 2012 long day man i am sure sick of moving hopefully this will be the last time for a long time today we finished up a lot of the last minute things that are just super annoying and you don t know what to do with i can officially say i m burnt out and that doesn t happen to me very often my sister amy was a gem and came and took gracie for the night so i could get some things done bless her it helped me so much ellie is so hard because she requires my constant attention and she doesn t do well with other people so i am very effective when she is sleeping which isn t very often either this might be why i am so burnt out right now plus i m looking around the room i am sleeping in and it is a complete disaster hopefully tomorrow i can find some time to settle in at my parents and relax a little bit today i am grateful for my life there was a tradgity in my neighborhood tonight someone took their own life and it has really shaken me up and taken a lot out of me i didn t now her but it still makes me so sad i am so grateful for this gospel and the eternal perspective i have i am so grateful for a heavenly father who loves me and let s me feel his love for me my family and the gospel are the two things in this life that i cherish and i don t know how i would live without either i am looking forward to a new day tomorrow but for tonight i need my sleep posted by liz zac at 10 07 pm no comments wednesday september 5 2012 moving on well its official we no longer live in our cute little condo it s on to bigger and better things we have been wanting to buy a house for a long time and we just leaped into the next stage of doing so we put our place up for rent and moved in with the parents until we can save enough for a down payment and get some rental income behind us it s a leap of faith that is for sure we have no idea where we are headed or what life s going to throw at us in the months ahead but its a fun adventure we really would like to build a home but we are open to looking at pre existing homes as well a huge thanks to my parents for letting us bum at their place for 6 months or so until we find what we want are we crazy maybe but all that matters to me is that we are healthy in good spirits and zac keeping his job the girls need to adjust but we
