blog stalker skip to main skip to sidebar friday july 16 2010 1 2 3 this blogging thing has been on the back burner now for about hmmm 3 months now i have so many pictures i want to post of my little guy but uploading pictures takes for ev er by the time i start someone wakes up from their nap and decides it s time to eat and then i decide after that it s time for a nap then the cycle repeats but here i am a new woman trying to be better at this blogging thing we love our little nugget so much and have enjoyed every minute of him we are still able to take time for ourselves while we share him with our family we have awesome babysitters coco aunt lala and grandma gina holt s first 4th of july jason is such an awesome dad he has really taken on this new role so well and i love to watch him talk play read with holt oh and i turned 30 on the 6th i hope to be better at this blog and with holt being a good boy and taking good naps i should be posted by leigh ann at 10 03 am 17 comments sunday march 28 2010 2nd shower maternity pics holt and i were showered by some wonderful friends a couple of weeks ago we are blessed with some amazing super creative friends this shower was very special i felt so loved and blessed by friends from all the different walks of life old co workers church friends middle school friends high school friends college friends and family it really was a special day i have known this friend since 7th grade reading class her bangs were too tall for me to see the teacher so i tapped her on the back and recommended that she maybe grow them out we have been friends ever since love you thomp this was such a special gift the very talented katie and mike beitler painted this for the nursery amy griff s gf aunt lala and coco my support team when this little dude gets here holt s first pair of boots from uncle griffin my dear friend amber from church i have gotten a lot of parenting practice from her two kiddos the hostesses minus mauri mav and andrea thank you girls for such a wonderful shower our good friends the grissom s took some maternity pics for us keith did such a good job our little dude loves to listen to music his favorites seem to be bob marley guster coldplay and death cab i look pretty round i can t believe how close we are getting any day now posted by leigh ann at 3 41 pm 4 comments monday march 1 2010 watch out it s raining ugly dolls this past weekend was my church family shower and what a shower it was i am truly blessed with amazing friends sister hostess pic see below who really out did themselves they made me feel so special and so loved and i know holt felt it too jason and i are doing ugly dolls in the nursery another blog coming shortly and the girls used them to decorate the shower mrs traci duty is an elementary art teacher so she had all her second graders paints these how fun it that and traci is framing one of them for me to hang in the nursery it was such a special touch to the day this is one of my favorite gifts my sister in law had this made for us it is his name with the meanings and scriptural blessings below such a neat gift we have it hanging outside his room the hostess gift love it i just know him and holt are going to be best buddies mr potato head shirt thanks katie if you know me and the person who gave this to us sure does thanks ashley then you know i love ketchup i sure hope little guy does too all the fun presents these two ladies are like 2nd moms to me so i guess that makes them holt s 2nd grandmas holt s real grandmothers i know they are going to be the best what a great shower and i can t wait for mr holt to meet all his new friends posted by leigh ann at 4 28 pm 8 comments thursday january 28 2010 all things baby it s sad to say but i think this is my first official baby post i really need to work on this blogging thing before our little guy gets here no comments please well i am 29 1 2 weeks along passed my glucose test and mr holt is measuring just right praise god we are so thankful for this blessing and all that god has done to keep him us healthy we have the nursery started we have the bedding and the furniture so basically this baby would be just fine with what we have but i think we need to jazz his room up a bit more p s we got the furniture at walmart and we couldn t be happier with the quality free delivery pick up at the store for free and especially the price we are pretty proud of our purchase also the bedding company we use www babybedding com is awesome i ordered the custom bedding and 2 weeks later it was on our porch i couldn t believe it these guys ugly dolls are the inspiration for the room and this guy i couldn t pass up he matched the bedding here i am in all my pregnant glory 29 weeks ok time to pop holt got more than his mama which i guess i should get use to thanks griffin modeling some of holt s new clothes aunt laura made these so cute me laura and amy griffin s girlfriend snow more snow we got jason s parents a grandparent kit i think they liked it some acu clothes thank you sheila short and sweet it was a great holiday and we can t wait till next year with a 9month old posted by leigh
