insane timing chemistry when it comes to the funnies is like one of the most phan things ever they re commited to the bit always it s too sweet 951 notes adziedoodlesphan dan is like one of those tiny dogs that thinks they re a large dog whereas phil is a large dog that thinks they re a tiny dog if they were dogs dan would for sure be a very annoying little yappy dog and we re all like omgggg you re the cutest and he s like no i m big and scary and cool and phil does give big lap dog energy like huge dog who still thinks he s a puppy correct takes 662 notes lesbianphan here s the brazil election results we re going to have a second turn vote on the 25th of october with only lula and bolsonaro son the problem is we re already behind not only on that but we have pretty much elected a full senate and congress full of conservatives who are aligned with far right evil ideologies and are mostly religious fanatics that believe in mixing religion and legislation either way we have already lost in a big way we can at least not give him the presidency if we can turn this around but i am seriously doubting if we even can there were over 30m ppl who didn t vote which will likely be the deciding factor it hurts so bad to know at least half of the voting ppl in this country subscribe to an ideology that wants ppl like me to be dead and openly flirts with ending democracy it s a scary reality that we have to face the probability of in the near future i m exhausted and defeated tonight i wanted to come back to this in a more hopeful light but it s been extremely hard to come by i think the thing i keep returning to is that ultimately this would likely be lula s last mandate so what i think this highlights is that we need a different leftist movement in brasil than the old ways of doing leftist politics it worked for lula but it was a different time those of us who vote for him because we like his politics rather than just voting to defeat evil are voting based on a past and then present it created his governments effected real change in our society and some of us know how to be grateful for it despite what media will have ppl believing it no longer works we seldom have big leftist politicians who can get their voices heard it seems impossible at this time and truly i think a lot of anti leftist ideologies don t even know what a leftist is the left needs to change or else we ll never defeat far right ideologies it s not just that we lose today or for the next 4 years we don t even know for how long we ll keep losing we do not have another lula leftists need to show the general public more than human rights and acceptance because unfortunately brasil proves time and time again most voters do not care about equality human rights or lgbt rights it s just not a priority to them if we don t get new leftists who are willing to play the social media game and who can show brasil a new way to think that isn t centered just around respecting everyone and similar ideologies that most people don t seem to care about it s never gonna go anywhere ever again and we ll be trapped in the bolsonaro torment nexus for decades we haven t lost the battle yet but we ve lost the people and we need to as much as it hurts get them back to at least a reasonable center or even right leaning instead of far right understanding of politics that allows us to build a possible future that has space for leftist conversations again i refuse to believe we lost forever as things come and go and i think believing a narrative of doom and all is lost brings us nowhere and isn t productive we need to keep putting one foot in front of the other and not allow ourselves to be silenced i think that s what usamericans want us to be silent complacent and hand over all our resources for them to exploit bolsonaros are the easy way to get that let s try not to surrender immediately when there s still a future to build brasil brazil politica politics amanda truth is i m not doing any better so i don t have confort to offer all i can say is at least the fight isn t over even if it feels like we lost anyway i don t think i can even watch dan and phils podcast tonight which will be a first to me just fucked up might go for old comfort content instead 105 notes anonymous asked to this day i m confused about the role of the producers being in the room at time of recording like what is the purpose pseudophan having one producer there is definitely helpful having someone else take care of the technical stuff while you re recording and making sure everything s working as it should makes the process much smoother i don t partiuclarly like it because dan and phil are much more entertaining on their own but i get it my main personal issue is that like they don t need two of them though lol like there is no need for both of them being there the social media admin does not need to be in the room during recording i realise they film tiktoks on the pod recording days so she has to come in anyway and knowing dnp they prob find it less awkward if there s two people there rather than just the one but it s the fact that there s two of them that makes the laughing so prevalent and annoying like when there s just one they re too shy and it s fine lol but again like i always say i can t even fully blame the producers or dnp for the laughing because you re legally not allowed to criticise any of that stuff in this fandom and so the only shit they see is people going the producers laughing is my favourite thing do it more which ofc they listen to and therefore the podcast gets progressively worse also why are we telling anecdotes about them now like again i know i sound like i just hate these people personally i really don t but i hate that phannies are encouraging dnp into making them like characters in the dan and phil universe like i do not care about these people pleaseeee why can t dan and phil just be about dan and phil why does it always have to be about whatever other fandom is popular right now or the people working with them behind the scenes i m going insane agreed making employees part of your online presence is also like bad for several reasons like that s a lot of worker s rights issues in there and like straddling a weird line i m not a fan of them even having producers so maybe i m biased but yeah i don t want them thanks anything they do that is overproduced is worse 613 notes reunitedinterlude celebrating 10 years of tabinof tatinof era 13 i m filming you happy 10 years to the release of the
