october 10 2017 jaimiex33 so throughout all the chaos of parenting a toddler we decided we wanted to add another baby to the family having frozen eggs we were able to skip many stressful steps in the ivf process there were still a few medications i had to be sure to stick to progesterone injections and hormone patches we did a fet december 8th 2016 and here we are now with our second beautiful baby boy i couldn t be more happy to share with people the magic of scientific intervention when it comes to creating families without the help i wouldn t have these two amazing little boys to call my own as always i want to share encouragement in not giving up on a fertilty journey because it is just that a journey and in the end if you don t give up you can end up in such a great place meet been so long since i posted my last post was my announcement that i was pregnant and now here is my wonderful update that proves to never give up and you will achieve your goals here is my amazing with it all if i had let myself do that i would not be seeing my tiny baby on that ultrasound screen and i am so much more thankful for where i am now because of the journey i took to get here now that i am starting a new journey of pregnancy and soon to be motherhood i am beyond excited and i ve realized more than anything is time flys by and to enjoy every moment you can i am only 5 1 2 weeks still in shock but overwhelmed with happiness i even scheduled my first ultrasound with will be on the 29th i will update with pictures in two weeks cannot wait to see my little baby i also want to hpt july 9 2014 july 9 2014 jaimiex33 so after my dollar tree test i ve taken a first response i think it is safe to say it is a positive after 2 1 2 years of trying i have finally seen the awaited double lines i don t want to say i am officially pregnant until my doctor confirms in two days with my blood test i don t think i will truly believe it until then either but i will defiantly be walking around with a permanent smile for the next couple of days i am just i m shock right now and can t even describe the wonderful feelings i m having but i hope everyone who s been or is in the poas omg 7dpt fet ladies help july 8 2014 jaimiex33 so background on this i had my first ivf about a month and a half ago fresh egg transfer and it was not an success i did my first fet last tuesday so today makes 7dpt so i went to the dollar tree today and bought 5 hpts even tho my blood test is thursday i knew i would want to take one so today in the middle of the day i took one i only saw one line after a few seconds so i took it an put it back in the package and tucked it in my purse something made me check back about a half hour later then i saw two lines the positive one is much lighter infertility ivf lupron medicine ohss pcos uncategorized update since 1st embryo transfer june 21 2014 jaimiex33 sorry it s taken me so long to update i have been trying to stay away from anything baby related because of the fact my my embryo transfer was unsuccessful and it hit me very hard i was almost positive that for some reason it would work and i guess it just didn t stick so lately i ve just been really trying to keep my mind busy on other things and trying to not be sad about the whole situation the day i went for my blood work i had already taken some home pregnancy tests and they were negative so i tried to prepare myself for the bad news once i got home i went back to sleep and woke up to the phone call when they gave me the bad news and just sort of shook it off and went back to sleep i d say about an hour later i woke up hysterically crying and my boyfriend just held me until i was calm and then i think i slept until it was dark outside the next day i just went about my business and tried as hard as i could not to even think about it i randomly cried a few more times as the week went on as soon as i spoke with my nurse i felt so much better knowing i can try a frozen transfer right away so that s what i m counting down now my blood and ultrasound is on the 25th and then my transfer will be on july 1st this time i will be transferring 2 embryos hoping that either both or just one will stick as long as one of them do i will be happy they couldn t really give me an explanation as to why it didn t work probably because there can be a number of reasons my nurse thinks it had something to do with my estrogen levels being so high and some ohss symptoms hopefully next month will be my time and all of this will be well worth it not losing hope and staying arrived i had an ultrasound done to check for ohss and everything seemed great she was very surprised how well my ovaries were doing so i was approved for transfer and soon there will be the making of a human being inside of me as i sit here i can feel the vallum kicking in big time and i m finding it hard to keep my eyes open but it has defiantly helped calm my nerves my boyfriend couldn t get the day off of work so i have my other favorite person here my mommy she s the best support system so i am only transferring one embryo and they just told me with the quality of my eggs and my eggs the not ready for my ttw the nurse also told me that i had 7 very high grade embryos so i am very optimistic about this cycle on another note i have two problems first one being that i got an unexpected two week vacation due to my retrieval i was unaware this was going to happen and i am not to happy about it bad enough going thru a ttw but to be home bored is going to make it so much harder the reason i am out of work is because when i went to get a note for missing a day because of the retrieval they wrote on the note i am not to lift more then 20 lbs well it just so happens where i work you cannot have any restrictions so there goes all my vacation time i have been saving up now on to my more serious problem and i m going to get a little personal here constipation it is the absolute worst thing i haven t been able to eat much and when i do i feel like i m about to explode it s been 5 days now and i have not been able to use the bathroom not fun so i m now on colace with no results and starting today i m taking miralax and fiber hopefully we have some success by tomorrow because i m not sure if it will effect my transfer or not i have been drinking gallons of water and i
