like to wish all our members and visiting anglers a very successful 2026 season as the loch lomond system has been designated as category 3 in 2026 we kindly remind anglers that all wild salmon must be safely released when releasing a salmon anglers should follow the fms guidance minimise stress at every stage fish survival depends on reducing exhaustion air exposure and physical damage keep the fish in the water this is the single most important factor in post release survival handle as little as possible only touch the fish when absolutely necessary more information on safe handling guidance can be found on the fms website by clicking here we also kindly ask all anglers to carry their permit with them at all times as per llaia club rules only fly and artificial lures are permitted before the 1st may so no bait fishing before then please refer to your permit for a full list of club rules tight lines llaia committee
