lostbutstillfound my story of finding myself and god lostbutstillfound my story of finding myself and god menu skip to content home about standard posted by amazinggracefound posted on december 21 2014 posted under uncategorized comments leave a comment his will be done jeremiah 29 11 13 niv 11 for i know the plans i have for you declares the lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future 12 then you will call on me and come and pray to me and i will listen to you 13 you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart this is my favorite bible verse i learned it from one of my past pastors he battled cancer for years he stayed strong and was a big inspiration for me i know i need to lean on the lord i know my future is planned by god and i must be willing to listen every single night when i pray before i go to bed i remember his will be done there are many things i want for myself but i must remind myself that i must not rely on what i think i need god knows what he has planned for me i was fortunate enough to take a trip abroad two years ago on the trip i developed extreme pains when i returned to the states i started going from one doctor to another they couldn t figure out what was wrong and last year i ended up in the e r with pain i kept thinking that if it was something serious i needed to trust god to be by my side everything happens for a reason right i ve gotten better but being a senior in high school is stressful there was one college where i felt i belonged i finished my application and prayed nonstop i felt god wanted me to go there i just felt so comfortable there it seemed to take forever to hear back from them but i finally received my acceptance letter recently i have been questioning my decision though i need to remember that god has a plan i need to be willing to let him take the wheel and steer my life where he needs to standard posted by amazinggracefound posted on june 29 2014 posted under uncategorized comments leave a comment hiking with god yesterday i went on a hike with one of my friends we reached the end of the trail and he decided we should find a different way down we wondered in circles moving away from our original position the next thing i knew we were separated i tried to follow where he went but kept moving farther and farther away i panicked a little then i started praying i asked god to guide me to a way back i needed him to take control of the situation i started feeling extremely calm i knew that god would lead me where i needed to go i started singing amazing grace and knew that i was headed the right way i reached the road that lead to where we were parked i thanked god but started praying for my friend i had no idea where he was as i walked up the road i asked god to keep him safe i asked that he could be at his vehicle waiting for me sure enough as i reached the parking lot i saw him sitting in his car i haven t stopped thanking god for keeping us both safe standard posted by amazinggracefound posted on june 29 2014 posted under uncategorized comments leave a comment left to tell i just finished the book left to tell by immaculee ilibagiza it is awe inspiring the faith she found in such peril and persecution i couldn t put it down my story is not as grand or life changing but hopefully i can help someone in their life journey in a small way search recent posts his will be done hiking with god left to tell recent comments archives december 2014 june 2014 categories uncategorized meta create account log in entries feed comments feed wordpress com blog at wordpress com subscribe subscribed lostbutstillfound sign me up already have a wordpress com account log in now privacy lostbutstillfound subscribe subscribed sign up log in report this content view site in reader manage subscriptions collapse this bar design a site like this with wordpress com get started
