regular you may have noticed the lack of posting as of late don t worry i haven t stopped making in fact i can share that having a creative outlet has been particularly helpful to getting me through this last year 2016 was continue reading uncategorized horizon shawl i ve had this one under wraps haha for ages and ages so it s great to finally be able to share it with you i was commissioned by yarnbox to design for their october 2016 yarn collection which was a lovely way for me to be able to try this yarn i have not worked much accessories crochet patterns strata cowl this is my first proper make using tunisian crochet it s really a stitch sampler cowl because i wanted to try out lots of stitches but was a bit fed up with swatches so i just experimented on a slightly larger scale hoping to make something wearable i was intrigued to try tunisian in the round sewing sort of circle skirt i m excited to have just finished my latest crochet project but as it isn t blocked yet the pattern will have to wait until next time you ll have to make do with the instagram teasers for now in the meantime i ve been continuing sewing with this midi circle skirt that isn t quite a circle skirt i recipes chocolate and whiskey cake when i asked my husband what he would like for his birthday cake this year he thought about it for a bit and then said can it have two layers please after further consideration he added that chocolate plus one other flavour would also be nice as you can tell he is pretty easy to sew your own basics 2 i seem to have strained my wrists so i m taking a crochet break boo and continuing with some sewing yay following on from my last sewing post i ve attempted some leggings for leggings i often have the problem that they aren t long enough i also
