marlies and minis sunday february 18 2018 a new member to our family first i want to say thank you for the lovely comments about my bathroom on the previous post the progress on my bathroom is not going very fast this is why we got a new family member i saw her on a site of a cat shelter and i knew she deserves a new chance for a nice life i don t know what happend to her she is missing one eye but i think she was abused she is very shy and scared very slowly she now starts to get used to us for now i call her meisje it is dutch for little girl here is a little towel rack i made for the january 7 2018 new year new goals one of my intentions for the new year is to finish everything that needs to be finished every time i get new ideas and when i see all those photos of everyone i just start a new project i want to keep my good intentions so i started with the bathroom first here was a still ceiling in on needed i have made the bars between the walls which is useful for getting rid of cables for lighting also made the ceiling this serves as the lid roof of the viewing box that way i can always access the inside for changing or if there is something with the lightning if you think what i see blurred i have already cut the plexiglas there is still protective film on it the outside is not just what i had in mind but i will give it another coat with antique washing now the mannequins tried to make them all different they are hollow on the inside you can see that at the brown one it is made of embroidery gauze also dressed up on stands and table models this one i saw on all winter and so much has happened so many things to do and so little time but i ll show what i ve done in the meantime of course lingerie and more and some more i made a baby doll with a laundry bag and slippers for a dutch magazine called dhn dollhouse netherlands made a dress for a doll from sun from nalladris she is a famous for her miniature jewelery and uses the doll as a model at fairs take a look at her site she also makes very beautiful chandeliers also this doll and dress were published in dhn and i did a swap with nina eary she made me a tea pot with cups and saucers for my tea scene very small and delicate as surprise she made also a platter with chocolate chip cookies hmmm the super beautiful cupcakes are ana and alma my favorite bakers but more about them later nina wanted some tuesday august 30 2016 working on the clock i had to change my plans i made the cabinet i liked so much but it would not fit in the little space i have in my clock as you can see on the picture it stil needs a shelf on it so it was to high here is my new cabinet it is actually a counter but that does not matter to me did a bit of changes there is only one row of drawers and on the side is coming a little glass case for a lot of chocolates hmmm i kept the colors soft on the walls and cabinet so the beautiful pastries will be good to see it is not perfect but good for me with only a ruler and a stanley nife from cardboard the brown top is veneer of course you want to sit when enjoying tea and sweets this was a ordinary gardens from iron in green the table top was iron too i did not like that so that had to go and i made a wooden top much better i think first i spray painted the chairs white aged them with some brown was not what i wanted spray painted them mat black much better but not exactly what i was looking for aged again with brown now it is the look that i wanted you can hardly see it on the picture there will be comfy cushions on the chairs i made a rack for storage for plates and cups and tea of course now i have doubts about the color on the wall is it not to much green despite the small space i can still move with table and chairs now i have to think
