they have entered it into an australian national trust competition they studied an old bridge in their area and created a scrapbook about it s life they wrote the book from the perspective of the here for the last two days it s hard to enjoy the tulips when they are covered in snow until the sun comes out we have plenty of projects to get us ready for the warmer weather this month the dt challenge was bloom where you are planted maya road has many fabulous flowers our chip blossoms petals the new journey east ribbons of course the floral stamps ribbon slides and blossom albums you name it we have flowers so i asked everyone to do something fun with them i hope you enjoy all the projects greetje made this wall hanging using the blossom coasters and chipboard blossom iv lisa s projects notice how she used the flower coaster to make the base for her egg and vase heather s project using the new stamps and velvet blossoms kim s project using the new vintage purse fiona s she did using her april kit i also included the information she posted on her website about the kit she used for her mini album enjoy i wanted to take a moment to highlight our april project kit sakura this beautiful project kit contains a wealth of goodies for you including 19 handmade papers many of them japanese silkscreened chiyogami papers these papers are stunning if you haven t seen chiyogami before you are in for a treat many of the papers have a bit of metallic gold decoration on them and they shimmer and glow beautifully the papers have been cut down to a roughly 6 x 6 size to make them more affordable and to provide you with a greater variety as they are very expensive in full sheets we ve also included two sheets of asian themed collage images including one of vintage asian children and a maya road chipboard book to complete the project additionally the kit contains a wealth of ribbons and trim 14 in all plus some flowers we diecut for you from handmade lace paper a paper source label and a small good luck box packed with embellishments plenty of chinese coins a silver charm that features a japanese woman in a kimono from frostcreek charms glass beads butterfly
