think i have been to the amc westwood movie theater in years it got horribly dumpy but they got their shit together somewhat and threw in a bar and comfy reclining seats in the theater the lobby and really have never been comfortable with the movie review tonight was something i want to do a little more of the whole dinner and a movie thing i knew the story behind foxcatcher growing up i was in high school when that whole thing went down there is cleveland rocks psychedelic furs at cleveland s house of blues so the first concert of 2015 was very promising at the house of blues this week the one and only psychedelic furs were coming back to cleveland traffic was kind of a pain in the ass with the cavs game going on down the street but we managed we used the mvp valet in front cleveland cares cleveland foundation keeps on giving in 2015 i think the last time i went to see the cleveland orchestra play at severance hall was for a very young evgeny kissin as the featured soloist i am beyond excited to be their guest this weekend this concert juxtaposes works from two very different musical perspectives the classical weight and proportions of mozart s cleveland rocks brent kirby music box cleveland awesome show for brent and his new band last night it was great to see a packed house for this local show at the music box brent reached into previous solo offerings plus a couple it back to cleveland last night to an absolutely packed house at the beachland ballroom dubbed pete yorn you and me acoustic yorn brought his best hits solo to an enamored crowd the first time i saw
