oluja audacious playgrounds cylent second life secondlife slea sound audacious playgrounds is an installation at slea 7 i believe it s open through the end of june it is indeed a playground and fun to visit with friends also they can teleport you out should you happen to get trapped in one of the cages it s actually safe and friendly though there are instructions near the landing regarding how to best enjoy your visit and information on joining art s group with a folder of cool gifts many of them i already had as art has been creating installations and projects since at least 2015 there are some new gifts for this installation one of which is an eardrum and the other headphones which i wore for several days after these are large eardrums that emit sounds when bumped into there have been spontaneous live music events announced in the group which i ve missed when you drop down into the hole shown glowing in the photo above you will find yourself in a 2d gallery after enjoying the art you can move through a tunnel you can pick up headgear by clicking when you exit the tunnel artoluja audiohead in inventory as shown in the top photo you can dance around in a moving device that adds more tones the second photo in this post is of the rocking sound swings you can play with the jam machine instructions are nearby six ways to upcycle a bottle there s a gift version in the folder there s an even lower level which happened to have a lovely orange color the first time i visited i entered by dropping down into a random rotation device only one of the three has an entry large enough to fit through i liked seeing bits of art from previous installations scattered about creatively there s something to see when you explore the perimeter of the installation when you fly up into the off white colored rectangles in the sky you will find either a room with a youtube screen a room with four cyclent art pieces that were new to me or a sort of meditation room in which i m resting entering the gate there s a board to click on to request an invite which didn t take long for me to receive when the spaces for lockers about 30 are filled up you can participate in the second group which will be on display about mid february the cost to join the group is 30l and you can keep and use the high quality locker elsewhere which i m already doing the colors are given out randomly there circuit la corse in second life established in 2017 by myself and my colleague klaus we set up a series of about 15 pop up art exhibits on several continents many of which were hosted by friends the exhibits were open from about 2 3 weeks sometimes there were opening parties and i enjoyed the project for the most part we set up once or twice in 2020 and once more in the last couple of years i quit keeping track or documenting and just enjoyed the moments we actually travelled with the truck to and from most destinations and i made a 2 33 vimeo showing some of the travel by road water air secondlife quentin on april 17 2016 this 512 sq meter parcel in quentin was claimed by quinn leilani for the purpose of exhibiting art in an informal park setting bordered on all four sides by a variety of neighbors and their builds over the years the small park has been steady and sustainable in the beginning the art was changed every month which eventually became every two months avatars sharing their work regularly through the whole seven years include elle thorkveld klaus bereznyak pearl grey veyot and wheedle the current exhibit march april also displays work by amy inawe gisele seeker kate silver and quinn as well as pieces from a personal collection until just a few months ago a 1024 parcel owned by minty vanilla was joined to the park it had a cafe and gallery with an outdoor courtyard generously donated for use by the group there is now a pretty security orbed nature area where the cafe used to be landmarks in the destination and event posters on still on the fences in that corner there s a teleporter to an upper level built when the park was boxed in by gigantic builds in front and back also to open things up more there s a stargate portal that connects first annual christmas fair set in the scenic welsh countryside many booths to shop and visit christmas trees treats and even a skating pond located on the zany zen railway and near seogyeo station upon my arrival i was greeted by a constable who was a real live avatar after looking at the booths and wandering around the area i explored the village until i found the zany zen railroad platform 2 there was a grand opening on tuesday the 13th and the festivities will run until january 4th the group notice said there is a christmas special bus service when i disembarked the train at station 1
