mostly all about luke cassie and soon to be paige tuesday july 15 2014 selfie probably my favorite selfie cassie has taken of herself she like to swipe my phone and take a lot of pictures and when i 2014 perhaps it s time to start blogging again it s been a couple of years now let s see if i can remember how to do this lots and i mean lots has happened in the last couple of years some highlights include luke will be in first grade next year cassie will be in kindergarten next year both kids are doing the dual language spanish english program luke really enjoyed kinder last year and cassie enjoyed preschool at the spanish schoolhouse paige is now two still not talking we are working on getting her in speech therapy ender and flynn are great best dogs ever michael quit his job of 9 yrs to go back to school he s doing an mba program at utd started august 2013 and will graduate december 2014 right now this summer he s doing an internship me well i had another baby we welcomed whitney into our family february 11 2014 and she s just been the best little baby so i m gonna see if i can t do a little better and write stuff down so i don t forget because i don t have the best memory written by jeannie at 7 04 2014 08 03 00 pm no comments wednesday may 9 2012 trip to the dentist the kids had their 6 month cleaning last week it was great to take then at the same time not so much on the pocket book but for the ease of getting both done at the same time luke has been several times before but this was cassie s first time to do an official real cleaning we got into the cleaning area and luke hops right up there i was a little more nervous about how cassie would do but she did awesome and they kept telling me how great she did yay i can t tell you enough how much i love the pediatric dentist how much they love it and both kids are cavity free yay next visit 6 months from now written by jeannie at 5 09 2012 11 20 00 am no comments monday april 30 2012 2 months already where has the time gone i love this picture of flynn looking in at paige smiles are starting to come more often now of only i could catch a great one on film do people say that anymore now that things with all of the kids has been from the time luke was a baby flynn is very interested in paige the sounds she makes the smells the spit up but he s doing really well luke loves to kiss and hug and to see paige doesn t want to hold her yet but that s ok luke has been a really big helper when i ve asked him to most of the time cassie really likes to hold her touch her kiss and hug her cassie also likes to get in the swing and swipe paige s binki not so thrilled about those everyone is having a fun time with grandma and granddad it s been great to have them here and it s been a huge help to me i m now trying to ease back into doing some of the laundry and cooking better start now so things don t completely fall apart when they leave sink or swim i guess written by jeannie at 3 15 2012 08 51 00 am no comments thursday march 1 2012 meet the newest member of the family the first picture is me at 39 weeks pregnant tuesday february 28 2012 at 2 10pm paige was born she weighed 7lbs 5oz and was 20 long we were scheduled to be induced at 5 30 that morning but i had michael take me a little early since i was already contracting and i wanted something for the pain soon i was admitted and everything was hooked up ready to go by 6am and i was dilated to a 4 i asked for and got my epidural about 8 or 9 can t exactly remember i had a little more dose a couple hours later in the past the dr had usually come early to break my water but this time couldn t until 12 50 and at that time i was dilated to a 6 i was needing more epidural so about 1 45 asked for more they needed to check me to see where i was at 1 50 i was fully dilated and ready to go yay so i got one more dose they called it a delivery dose i probably only pushed about 10 12 times less than 20 minutes and there she was i guess if i knew i was only gonna be pushing for not even 20 minutes i could have skipped the last dose of epidural nah who am i kidding i m glad i had it and i was freezing michael out notice the hoodie up but that s ok as long as the temperature is comfy for me so in a nutshell there you have it i just hope that in the future my water doesn t break on its own ever i m not sure we d even make ikea thought these were the cutest it s very cute to hear luke say these are just my size as he s giving them a big hug and by the looks of it the kids aren t the only ones who like them written by jeannie at 2 10 2012 10 33 00 am no comments thursday february 2 2012 random things that make me happy smile playing at the park in beautiful 70 weather on the first of february luke snuggling with ender and cute cassie peeking out even though she s in time out seeing how the kids play with their toys as they were playing with the little people luke tells cassie that the boys daddy has to work late cassie asks why and luke says that sometimes people work late and sometimes they don t the last couple of days michael has worked late and missed bedtimes and the randomness of where i find toys written by jeannie at 2 02 2012 10 12 00 am no comments thursday january 26 2012 this weeks randomness the kids love story time at night looks like the dogs do too it was cold the other morning rainy and dreary so the kids wore hats at one point while we were in the car i looked back at cassie and she had her hat backwards so you couldn t see as much of her face she also had her sunglasses on but i didn t get a picture of that on sunday i ll be 35 weeks pregnant this is the part that seems to drag in and feels longer maybe i ll post a picture next week we ll see written by jeannie at 1 26 2012 09 47 00 am no comments friday january 20 2012 random pictures so it s a start the kids really like to play pretend it warms my heart when i peek around the corner and see them playing together luke and michael really enjoy playing play doh together they usually do it together and i keep cassie entertained doing something else luke and cassie love to snuggle with daddy any chance they get ender and flynn on the bed my side of the bed i had to kick them off and lastly luke wasn t feeling well one morning and this was the look he shot me when he didn t want his picture taken but i took it of the puppy pictures here is the new puppy flynn he s very adorable the kids absolutely love him ender was unsure of him the first couple of days but he only displayed a lip curl half snarl saying back off now they play together really well and rest near each other we love the little divot on the back of his back fur where his tail curls up and over and he seems to be quite the snuggle pup written by jeannie at 1 16 2012 08 24 00 am no comments friday january 13 2012 still alive wow it certainly has been a very very very long time since anyone in this family made a posting and let me tell you a lot has happened if you have seen us talked to us follow us on facebook or have seen anyone in our families you probably know about some of the things that have been going on since oh what july and i can t even begin to recount all of the things that have happened since then but the two biggest things that have happened to our family is was flynn the puppy was born august 26th and joined our family the wednesday after thanksgiving we got him from the same breeder that we got ender from yup that s right another eskie and the other big thing we are looking forward to is the arrival of our third child second girl at the end of february beginning of march so that s probably just the tip of the ice burg of the things that are going on with us i hope to post more even if it is only a picture or a little something of the cute things the kids say and do and i might put up some random pictures but i ll try my best to remember when they were taken but if not that at least a brief explanation so let the blogging resume written by jeannie at 1 13 2012 09 35 00 pm no comments thursday july 14 2011 luke s broken bone monday night luke fell off the bench at dinner time cassie was in his chair we ended up taking him to the dr on tuesday afternoon after watching him all day he wouldn t lift his shoulder or use his arm much just kept it tucked in close to his body and he was asking for help more often getting up and down going potty he really seemed bothered by it if you touched him or moved his shoulder not very cool when your kid starts crying and yells don t hurt me mommy so we saw the dr and he sent us to get x rays the next day we found out that he had a broken collar bone poor guy and right before vacation that puts a damper on swimming and some of the other activities we were planning on doing oh well there s nothing they really do for broken collar bones unless they break through the skin so he s in a sling for the next 4 weeks and then we ll go back to the dr to get more x rays to make sure he s healed ok night time seems to bother him most now so we give him tylenol and hope he cab sleep a little better written by jeannie at 7 14 2011 02 08 00 pm 1 july 7 2011 how we beat the heat well besides staying indoors all the time we got a pool everyone can be in boy is it nice it takes a long time to fill and after about an hour the water isn t cold anymore but luke warm still feels better than the 95 temps we ve been having luke really enjoyed it cassie was ok until she swallowed a bunch of water then she preferred the tiny baby pool they like going down the slide while wet and pretending to have picnics at the table i think next time we fill the pool we will do it on the patio since it extends to the fence so it will be in the shade most
