clear i always think of seattle as being in the 50s and drizzly very little of that this trip i ve now got an idea real or imagined that april is one of the best weather months up there here are a few close it seems to be a game with no winners i have four hours left in a 48 hour contest a game of writing a poem in two days with ten impossible words chosen for me it s been a busy weekend and i year old i have kind of forgotten those years when my daughters were this age this week i ve been spending most of my hours with my little grandson today we went to the post office to the lake and to the playground we played read and baked cookies while at the lake i took some notes as we conversed so you could enjoy a bit of our conversation he said much more than this m why do we throw sticks in the water me i don t m i do there are feathers here baby duck feathers i ll throw them in the lake i have to find sticks different sticks these are the toys for the ducks the ducks are going to play with their new toys let s keep finding more sticks how do they play with their new toys i think they chew on them grammy did you bring some good bread for the ducks to eat i meant to bring some me oh
