posted by munchflower at 3 21 pm no comments wednesday september 4 2013 a final thank you from nomine if only there was enough space on this tiny card to evoke my unfettered joie de vivre for what you have done the gaiety the mirth the heavenly bubbling of every effusive cell that sings inside me for your kind and pithy offering joshua braff dearest friends customers and passersby what a long strange trip it s been no the past few years have been extraordinarily hard for me i ve never been very public about my health issues save a passing mention that i had them about two years ago post a bout with the flu my body took a very serious turn for the worse i woke up with my hands locked in place swollen with a very large vesicular rash covering my upper arms i ended up for the first of many many times in the emergency room where doctors hovered and came to no conclusions i was sent to the first of several specialists then internal medicine specialists rheumatologists gastroenterologists you name it and every time i came home with a larger and larger amount of medical debt and no answers finally i was sent to two geneticists who diagnosed me with ehlers danlos syndrome the short version of which is thus my body does not and has never produced collagen right collagen is the building block that literally holds our bodies together and mine doesn t work i was told there was no cure and essentially no treatment i would continue to get worse i would spend the rest of my life in pain i began a regimen of constant medication that i will continue for the rest of my life like a lot of diseases there are degrees to which this one can affect someone i am one of the unfortunate people who have a severe case i do not ask for sympathy or condolences it is what it is i have come to terms with it this disease however coupled with the eternal downsliding of the economy have made second life an unviable option for me i am no longer pulling in a liveable income and haven t been for some time i have fought like crazy to keep my store open despite the ever rising cost but i can no longer manage that i am deeply hurting for income and nomine is costing more than it s making the best option for me now is to close my inworld store and sell my sim i will be leaving nomine open through the end of october as i have every intention of doing one last round of the halloween avatars i will be leaving the marketplace open as an option through the end of the year as a final thank you and to be perfectly honest a chance to make some direly needed income i will be auctioning off one of each of some of my limited editions i will be starting with the alice in wonderland avatars and they will be auctioned off in my inworld store at a starting bid of 5k the auctions will run for 48 hours and then a new set will take their place i intend to auction off the past two years tarot avatars and one of each of the limited edition gowns from previous years these will begin today at noon you have all made my second life an amazing and enormous experience i am awed and humbled by those of you who have stood by me all these years and to every single customer who came to my store i truly am you have pushed and inspired me to stay in business for almost 10 years your ideas and suggestions helped me evolve into something far greater than myself i will remember you always thank you truly i couldn t have done it without you munchflower zaius p s if you re interested in purchasing a sim please contact me posted by munchflower at 9 44 am 4 comments sunday july 28 2013 veni vidi vici so i decided that i was tired of the gatcha makeups only being in the gatcha and took them out i fixed the lips on every single one of them and made a handful of new ones but i m way more excited because i made a ton of really cool warpaint ish tattoos they are shown on men but are completely unisex and most of them are colorable tintable all avalable in the new releases section in the store or on the marketplace here i shouldn t write blog posts at midnight when i m tired because i stop being formal and just write about whatever butts enjoy posted by munchflower at 11 55 pm no comments sunday june 16 2013 nomine stained contacts nomine presents an entire slew of new and exciting contacts fantasy overlays horror and the entire skittles rainbow of basic colors ranging from light to dark there are many more contacts than what is shown here these are only a sample of the available colors and styles each set comes with an eye alpha a set of prims that cover the entire eye and a set of prims that only cover the iris of the eye each set of prims can be touched or clicked to change the textures in the case of the fantasy eyes all textures are included in the prims you need only to click them until the right set matches up or wear them mismatched there are several colors included in each fantasy pack the irises will only cover the colored part of the eye and should not be worn with the alpha the textures on the prims are much higher quality than the sl mesh allows and can be considered high rez the irises can be worn on top of the prim sclera or eye white prims by right clicking and selecting add some moving and or modification may be necessary to make them fit your eyes perfectly all the prim contacts are modifiable which means you can easily set them to fullbright glow or stretch the iris to make it large enough for your liking i recommend making a backup copy before you attempt this as i will not replace eyes that are broken due to user error the overlays tech and rune are only the iris part and are meant to be worn over existing contacts or sclera they are colorable and modifiable and spin slowly clockwise the sclera contacts are only the full contact size if you have any questions please ask before purchasing i will be happy to assist you the eyes are out now in the new releases section of nomine right in front of you when you teleport into the store http slurl com secondlife nomine 122 143 306 posted by munchflower at 10 36 pm no comments monday march 25 2013 nomine makeup gatcha madness in the spirit of any earlier skin lines they may or may not work with skins that are not from nomine as i do not create to match other skinmakers the shadows however will work with any skins the makeups are mostly intended for lighter skintones but are modifiable and can be tinted darker or to match other skins all makeups are transferable and non refundable enjoy http slurl com secondlife nomine 122 143 306 3
