heart of basically all of these billionaires are destroying the planet by making the decisions that shape literally all of what s destroying the planet can our individual actions change the world probably not but to me that question is irrelevant we change our individual actions not because cycling or taking the bus will be enough to change the world not because eating lower on the food chain people seem to think we re a lot younger than we are or something i remember being able to research things without seeing more than maybe one single ad on the side in 6th grade i e around 2012 now i can barely see the actual article i m trying to read even after trying to close most of the ads i remember going to illegal streaming sites as a kid and having less ads than i get on most websites now and like if this was a one time thing i wouldn t point it out but like sure i never used vhs tapes but i used cds regularly until high school have my own dvds from back when my computer had a cd player i could use to watch them again up to high school i ve lost access to whole movies and series and video games i had as a kid because it s hard to have the right machines to watch them now i have video games still on my shelf that haven t been compatible with new computers for the past 15 years even if i were to have something to read the cds the only way for me to play these games again is with an emulator now and sure i was born around the time cameras could take and store digital photos but that s the only thing i used to take pictures until i started college because before that i had a flip phone do you do you people do you realize we aren t gen alpha we weren t born yesterday anymore we re adults and we re seen technology change a bunch over our lives don t get me wrong some gen z ers might not have known this stuff but i swear some people seem to have a very inaccurate idea of what our generation has lived through i swear some people seem to think we haven t known
