let s story let s story a place to story and to share about anything and everything that comes to mind places of interest and happenings monday may 13 2013 failing eyesight hallo again i know that it has been a while since i last blogged but i hope that from the recent visit to my friend s blog it will give me a nudge and inspiration for me to continue with my own blog anyhow i d like to tell you about my failing eyesight read it in my friend s blog about the same entry and i have my own share of being blur which is very irritating at times my degree on both eyes are considered quite high for my contact lense on my left eye i am wearing a 7 lense and on my right eye my lense degree is 4 5 but they are not as clear as i hope it to be but the strange thing is my optician here in holland tells me that that is the highest degree they can offer me as they have no more higher degrees while in malaysia one is able to get lenses which are higher degrees from the ones i have i think eventually i will be wearing my spectacles more permanently and that i will have to give up my contact lenses altogether i have been wearing contact lenses for almost 20 years that i am still not so used to the idea of wearing spectacles 24 7 365 days and the fact is that i still prefer driving with my contact lenses on anyhow i just got a new pair of spectacles with reading part which i still don t get as i don t feel the difference between my last spectacles and this new one but i must admit this new spectacles is much more clearer haha i must be confusing you with what i am saying cause i myself wonder what am i talking about well hopefully in time i will be able to accept that my eyes will be better off with spectacles 24 7 365 days or at least i should admit that my eyes r getting scribbled by crystal clear 11 20 no comments weather hey there wonder what i can story with you all today maybe i should talk about the weather since the last couple of days it has been wet and windy well actually it is a typical spring weather and we should be thankful for all the rain that we are getting but to be able to enjoy being outside is just not ideal at the moment this is also the time when flowers and plants start to blossom oh what a wonderful site that is when the sun is shining you could even have a picnic and feel the sun ray shining on your face children running and playing outside listening to their laughter screams and cries is just a joy in 2 weeks school children will be having may vacation for 2 weeks and i wonder if they will be able to play outside then hopefully the weather would be dry with blue skies it would be a shame if the weather is not nice and instead children would have to play in an indoor playground etc talking about the weather i used to wonder why people here gets depressed during the cold winter months well it is not so much when the sky is blue with sun shining and cold but when the sky is grey it does tend to make one feel very down looking at the sky and it hurts ones eye as well when looking up well so much about the weather for now we will just have to wait and see how will the coming weather be like hoping for a warm summer though would very much like to go to the beach and spend our time there sure miss the beach so very much the smell the waves and everything about the beach fingers crossed that it will be a hot hot summer then scribbled by crystal clear 07 20 no comments tuesday april 10 2012 story let s see it has been ages since i came to blog and after story ing with my better half about my blog i thought it was a good idea to come and story here once more now what shall i say let me have a think today is 10 4 and in a few weeks time half of the year of 2012 will be behind us how time flies too fast and yet at times i wished that it would go even faster fast forward to where i want it to be there are days i wonder how the future would be like i am so curious to know since these last couple of months i wished i have a magic ball and i won t be feeling so restless most of the time life has certainly changed since the last couple of months well not that it has gotten better or worse just that a unique situation sort of crept into our lives for now there is nothing we can do about that unique situation but to wait is a struggle at times and wished that at the end of that wait there will be light at the end of the tunnel or rainbow with a pot of gold awaiting oh how i wish it will be so praying very hard and hoping is all that we can do for now it is indeed a torture sometimes well most of the time actually at times i wonder why life is so my dilemma may not be as bad as others in fact it is not too bad with some patients in us we should be able to reach the end point in a blink of an eye like the saying goes well i guess that is all i would be story ing for now i should be coming here more as time goes by kisses and hugs from me to you readers who have stopped by to read my short story and i thank you scribbled by crystal clear 12 34 no comments sunday may 01 2011 labour day 2011 today 1st may and we are having a wonderful day blue sky with lots of sunshine except for the strong breeze it is a nice breeze when one is sitting directly under the sun but when one is hiding under the shade it can be pretty cold and the temperature is showing 17 degrees c brrrr anyway spent the afternoon at a park girls had fun running jumping climbing throwing their frisbee managed to take only a few pictures as totally forgot to bring along another set of batteries and hence the
