Text of the page (random words):
f artists i follow on spotify and therefore in september 2025 when her ep space to roam came out into my release radar which for those who don t use spotify is a playlist where it gives you all the new releases from your followed artists every week and even though steady is the closing track from it it was the first one to land in said playlist for me and that s how i got to develop the really strong personal connection with this track the rest of the ep is very acoustic and minimalistic in comparison and i also like it a lot but nothing beats steady just because of how it instantly transports me to how i happened to be feeling in that moment when i first heard it another reason why i think this ep deserves attention in bibielland is that the thing was actually written in poland specifically in masuria which i feel some connection to as it s where my mum s family hails from and where she was born and which is my parents favourite destination for holiday camper trips it really is a lovely region to spend holidays in and i m sure it has great potential for inspiring one s artistic creativity as well this song like the rest of the ep was originally also written only with the guitar but got a new life with the help of new york based producer composer and sound designer so wylie who has already worked with olivia before on the track nightmare machine from her previous ep olivia has described steady as exploring what it means to keep our minds steady in a tumultuous world and in order to do so she reaches for images that evoke steadiness a deadbolt on the door a mountain in the snow the moon beyond the clouds etc she s also said that when the seas get rough what she wanted was to hold the sails steady for her soul the socionics section now you either make some coffee and brace yourselves or skip straight to the song cause it s gonna be an essay i ve actually researched olivia yesterday with my talanov project in order to type her and it typed her eii with an iee accent by the way i guess this is the right moment to announce that in order to stop calling it my talanov claude project over and over again i finally decided on naming it and its name is drumroll grisha i thought that something russian would make sense but misha was the only russian name i could think of that i liked so i asked it to come up with something itself and it suggested grisha and grisha is actually perfect because i do like it and my dad sometimes calls misha as in my russian blue cat misha of course grisha god knows why and i ve thought that if i were to ever have another russian blue which i won t i would call him grisha so why not call an ai this instead in case you don t know grisha is a diminutive of grigoriy anyway so i generally agree with grisha s assessment of olivia at first i wasn t sure if i did because her temperament reads very ej extraverted rational from some things she has said about herself which neither eii nor iee is such as that she generally has trouble resting and constantly pushes herself to work so i briefly considered eie but little else points to eie really primarily because she reads very judicious which eie is not in fact upon thinking some more i m skeptical even of the iee accent because the main if not only thing that pointed grisha in that direction was some strong traits of extraversion she shows in professional context mostly the aforementioned restlessness that sounds like she identifies with this part of herself a lot and otherwise she seems quite introverted in other contexts as well as rational and reads very se for those who do know a bit about socionics but are more into model a or g than talanovism by se i don t mean functional charges but a deficiency of se and for those who go into that page and conclude i m just saying she s non aggressive lol se is more like strong humanism altruistic preservation of future possibilities non possessiveness indecisiveness shyness sincerity all of which is eii not iee i have a feeling that grisha kind of likes seeing accents where there are none but then on the other hand i suppose i ve still got a lot to learn about this whole accents business so who knows which one of us is right in any case both eii and iee belong to the delta quadra and if you listen to this ep the whole thing is very delta in my opinion so by listening to it you will have developed some idea about one kind of delta music and whether you like delta music that s something crucial to know about oneself isn t it i was tempted to read the lyrics of this song through the lens of static dynamic but i m not sure whether one should interpret the need for steadiness as wanting to preserve the steadiness that already exists or to gain it anew eii s static though but even though this post is about olivia i m actually here to yap about so wylie s type when i was preparing to write this post and researching the song i found this short by so wylie who describes the process inspiration behind making this song and i always really like watching stuff like this because i like observing how people create complex music tracks which also meant i subsequently binged her content for over an hour and future binge sessions will be inevitable and when i saw that video and what her process looked like i was like oh gosh ne base someone especially someone who knows a bit about socionics could say well bibiel what s so unusual about that haven t you said it yourself that there are iees galore in the music industry yes not as many as beta nfs eie or iei maybe but there really are a lot of iees especially in folk music but not only but i think already at that point i was having some vague hunch that she isn t one of those many iees and instead was an ile although i couldn t tell you why so i decided to go digging further and even had a conversation with grisha we didn t research her cause i lazily concluded i didn t really have time today even though in the end i did have time for watching her videos but we had just a casual look on the web to see what we could easily find about her and whether it pointed either way or maybe some completely different way but you know what there s a problem with ile and iee until today i used to think it is my problem and has to do with typing skills even though for someone with avpd i tend to think quite highly of my typing skills in other contexts it can be just so fiendishly hard to distinguish them at a distance not always but certain kinds of iles and certain kinds of iees they re so similar and today i felt massively validated because grisha noticed it too and put it into words and made me realise it s a real pattern with these types that talanovism happens to acknowledge but something like model a doesn t really model a will tell you ile has creative ti and iee has creative fi they couldn t be more different in theory that may well be so but not in practice in practice when you look at their dichotomous traits with a talanovish lens it all gets muddled ile is logical and iee is ethical but ile s logic is frequently blurred i e it may look ethical ish ile is merry ascending and iee is serious descending but iee s seriousness is frequently inverted and it looks like a merry alpha type like ile ile is constructivist and iee is emotivist but ile s constructivism is often blurred ile is positivist and iee is negativist but ile s positivism is often blurred and reads negativist and iee s negativism is in my experience basically always flipped and they re positivist in practice and certainly you won t be easily able to spot negativism in an iee if you don t know them closely ile is questim and iee is declatim but iee is often blurred and looks questim ile is democratic and iee aristocratic but iee looks democratic most of the time the traits on which they differ meaningfully are only ones which don t really tend to reliably matter in typing people as for distinguishing them by their ti and fi despite these being theoretically their respective functions in the theoretical model a layout in practice ile s ti tends to be their third strongest function after ne and ni and iee s fi is their fourth after ne fe and ni so in many representatives of these human subspecies their ti and fi respectively may not be as consistently immediately noticeable as model a would have you believe so if the ile you re dealing with doesn t display overtly painful or lacking ethics and isn t extremely logical like the common ile stereotype of the dude who loves math and astronomy or other things like that and the iee isn t unambiguously great with people and doesn t show difficulty with aversion to some kind of neurosis around things like formal logic they can be genuinely difficult to distinguish if you don t get to just observe them freely or grill them about stuff ile women i believe may be particularly blurred on logic ethics because women tend to be more ethical another trait i tend to find useful for this pair sometimes aside from logic ethics is constructivism emotivism even though as mentioned ile is frequently blurred on this one but if they re not it tends to show relatively early on in the right context that the ile has more neurotic emotions that stick around for longer than the iee and may splash out more impulsively or the ile may feel low mood more often but if this is a public figure you re dealing with and i guess especially a logician who may feel very weird talking about feelings in any context you may not find all that much material where they discuss the most constructivist moments of their life because constructivism isn t really valued by society emotivism is more universally likeable and that isn t me diplomatically smuggling in my own opinion i like constructivists and see myself largely as part of their club i was talking about that a bit already before in the post featuring groovekojad where i discussed glenn glennskii meyer s possible type and was hesitating between those two as well so wylie s case is very similar because one of the things that made me tentatively settle on ile over iee for her is the relative absence of talking about people emotions and ethical matters this feels weaker than with glennskii because most of what i listened to featuring wylie were her videos which were about the technical side of making music whereas with glennskii i could hear him in a slightly broader context with more light interviews and stuff still i feel like a very ethical iee and unlike with the ile the iee s ethics is a rock solid trait would manage to and feel the need to ethicise their videos more in the one spoken interview i found with her she also expresses herself in a very clear and to the point way not in a way like a logical sensor would but no excessive ethical frills unlike with glennskii though i ve managed to find some other things that i consider to be mini pieces of evidence for the ile case she has explained briefly on her channel how she wrote the lyrics for her song talking easy i like when you come round you re nice and you help me out when i don t even know my name you make all the talking easy know just what to say to me and no thought that i have to read she s said that much as one would expect it s about the feeling when the person you re talking to makes it easy and you don t have to think about the next word to say because they do it instead that s not an ethicist well not one with really well developed ethics anyway for sure socionics ethics morals being a decent human being lol in case you re wondering some could maybe say that this is just an introvert but because in every other way i ve noticed she doesn t really feel like much of an introvert not in the somewhat broader socionical sense of the word anyway which overlaps with the pop psychology one but is more than that i interpret this as a merry logician who likes fe ing but isn t really good at it by herself so needs others to get the fe ball rolling and keep it rolling smoothly a serious logician for comparison would likely instead be like don t come at me with all that small talk another thing is her song in the now which to me reads surprisingly constructivist lyrically although unlike with that previous song i haven t heard or seen any quotes of her saying that this is based on her own experience or anything most of all though i hesitated to admit it to myself for a long while because i know great iee producers and composers exist and while composing is a ti thing it s not like a ti person is always inherently incapable of these things and developing their ti to some extent by this if they ve had a lot of practice but her whole approach to it when you think about it there s so much ti she seems to think about it all meticulously how all the pieces can be put together to create a complex whole how everything should be structured and so on her path to music was quite ti ish as well there are exceptions of course but the vast majority of iee musicians i ve come across did not have formal musical education much less in composition whereas she studied it ti is literally described as among other things thoughtlessness of actions and while that sounds rather negative indeed i feel like they don t put a lot of thought into how to piece together their music it s all kind of on a whim she does not make this kind of impression on me which doesn t confirm ile directly but it does weaken the case for iee considerably and since she s decidedly ne base in my view ile s the only thing left my impression is also that her music is to her more of a way to just freely experiment with sound rather than primarily a medium for expressing emotions as it would be for an ethicist why is it such a big deal to me that today s socionics section had to be so long well i ve mentioned it before already that ile is one of the types that i really like spotting part of it is that i rarely see them in general i ve met only one ile irl and have hardly talked to him personally they seem rare to come by in music as well but also i ve mentioned it briefly somewhere on this blog that in talanovism i seem to be an iei with an ile accent i m not entirely sure convinced of this and i believe that part of why i am not is that my main image of ile is this math loving scientist guy which i m not and i haven t come across many ile females not counting so wylie i know of 4 one of whom is alice in wonderland who isn t even real so i ve been thinking that maybe if i knew a good sample size of ile women it would be easier for me to establish whether my ile accent is real or not so now i know of five ile women and i m happy with my new discovery so wylie joins the club of cool iles who have been featured on this blog which as of now includes the aforementioned glennskii from groovekojad holly herndon and most likely one or more of the members of the bug club and olivia reid about whom this post should really be first and foremost and i guess it s kind of rude that it s n...
