net on the net net on the net thursday may 7 2026 not an estate sale post well this is a change no estates sale to tell you about this post instead i m going to tell you about my taste decorations and why it s kind of a pain in the butt so i like metal home decor any furniture wall or other home decor always catches my eye it s my taste i can t help it note my future daughter in law jenna has the same taste their house is filled with beautiful metal wall decor anyway here s what i have so far this little side table this shelf and the candle holder on the desk below it these wall hangings in our bedroom this bedside table lamp there s two of them this sconce in the bathroom this cute wall hanging shauna got me for christmas this recently purchased wall hanging from hobby lobby this wall hanging i bought years ago also from hobby lobby this wall hanging these end tables in the family room there s two of them this metal wall sconce there s 4 of them these two little shelves from the 5 bin at target this napkin holder this little bottle holder this calendar this plant stand and of course the tray that i got from the estate sale in the previous post so that s a lot of metal and a lot of scrolled metal decorations i love it except for when it comes time to clean it all it takes forever to dust those little scrolls and angles but it s worth it to me in other news i got a waxed amaryllis for easter that bloomed and then the blooms died i read that you can replant the bulb so i took the wax off and planted it i hope it works that s all for now there are a few estate sales facebook share to pinterest monday may 4 2026 quick estate sale friday i went to an estate sale on the first day i try to wait a few hours after they open if i can to avoid a line but this time there was still a line a few hours after it opened so i drove by and just went home saturday we were busy volunteering for 1 000 000 meals and then had the boys overnight sunday after church i had to go to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and happened to be passing right by the estate sale so of course i had to stop it was the third day and everything was 50 off this was the house a 1 265 sq ft condo it was not for sale yet but zillow estimated it at 290 000 it was the last day of a 3 day sale and everything was 50 off as i was walking up to the door a man who was walking out said there s not much left in there my thought is always if it was meant for me to find it then it s in there all the stuff was combined into the living room kitchen basement and garage this is the kitchen i thought the kitchen was very pretty i loved these glass front cabinets this was the basement very small but nicely finished here s what was meant for me at this estate sale this pretty round tray with a glass bottom i originally wanted it to go on the island in our kitchen but it didn t really work there so it s on the dining table with my grandmother s glass bowl inside i m not 100 happy with it like that right now but it will do until i think of something better total spent 12 50 in other news i spotted this in a parking lot no it s not two masked people sitting there those are headrest pinterest friday may 1 2026 third and best estate sale third times a charm so they say and in my case this third estate sale was my charm the advertisement for this sale says bring your crafty self and they were not kidding first here s where it was i took this picture off the internet because i didn t take any outside it s 1 800 square ft condo and recently sold for 239 000 it s a nice condo complex but jeez anyway it was loaded with stuff and there were some very nice things i thought this daisy dish set was so cute each piece was marked 2 this vintage china was gorgeous it was 100 for the set but everything was 25 off this was very pretty too it s a little pot and cup set with a plate they were asking 20 this is the kitchen very small and definitely in need of paint all the beauty products were on a shelf in the bathtub i rarely buy any of that kind of stuff this is the linen closet very neat and organized in the bedroom there was every kind of wig and hairpiece you could want plus an adhesive bra a very pretty thimble collection they were 5 each this was one of the bedrooms i had to crop the picture to get the person standing there out of it but it was nice and bright with big windows it must have been a sewing room because it was filled with sewing stuff this book told how to make vintage bags it was 3 then i got to the basement and oh my gosh when they said bring your crafty they meant it the basement was loaded with all sorts of craft stuff this room was all ribbons threads and embroidery stuff this closet was filled with large pieces and bolts of fabric stamps of every kind there was a cricut machine with all the accessories it was marked 100 but with the discount was 75 all sorts of stuff for scrapbooking i never got into scrapbooking thank goodness more acrylic paints than i ve ever seen in a craft store i could go on and on about all the crafting things there were but i think you get the picture here s what i bought at this sale two new packages of interfacing a loop turner bias tape maker one of those games like they have on the table at cracker barrel two large pieces of pretty fabric a cardinal yard decoration a window thermometer and this complete 53 piece set of ratcheting screwdrivers for rich total spent 35 i think this is the record for the most i ve spent at an estate sale i could have dug through this sale for hours but i had to go to work i should have gone back the next day but i figured i spent enough in other news they had a rootin tootin lunch at work and these were the table centerpieces they were so cute that s all for the next estate sale i went to this one was currently for sale it s 2 203 sq ft and the asking price is 569 000 it s all about the location i thought this little drummer was cute it was 25 loved this christmas platter there was no price on it and this christmas bowl too very pretty but no more christmas stuff girl i mean it there was no price on it i thought these plates and cups were nice with the cards on them 30 for the whole set see that little amber juice glass in the back i have about 12 of them that i got for my wedding shower years ago this was the kitchen not real big but typical for this style of house i kind of liked this spice rack it was marked 20 i might have considered buying it but it was really dirty and sticky i don t have the counter space for it anyway this was interesting boot vase with a clock on it i ve never seen that before it was marked 8 i didn t buy anything at this sale either next time i ll tell you about the third estate sale where i more than
