already done a lot in the city centre this pub crawl was round wincolmlee and the north hull estate where most people will never walk round never mind doing the pubs there i also did areas nearby i had to get a train down from beverley as we stayed at my sister in laws house in the town quite a few times over the years it was a walk from hull interchange up to wincomlee and then onto beverley road and the north hull estate wincolmlee 1 new cumberland photo taken by alan winfield a pretty grim looking pub in an equally grim area of hull once inside the pub was a lot better with a single room and a longish bar there was a snooker table in the middle of the room which i like to see there was also a pool table and darts board there was one real ale on the bar which was tetley bitter this was a decent drink the pub was a lot better inside i quite liked this pub i walked onto beverley road and got a bus up to the north hull estate where i would get off as soon as i saw a pub north comfortable with bench seating and being carpeted there was another large room to the rear which was in darkness there were no real ales on the bar i had a drink of tetley smooth flow which was a pretty poor drink the pub was very busy on my saturday dinner visit i quite enjoyed walking round the north hull estate looking for some decent looking estate pubs i passed one that was not yet open drinkable the pub was fairly quiet on my saturday dinner visit i walked along hall road and onto beverley road my next pub was a short walk up beverley road on the northern edge of hull north hull 5 mansfield dark which i quite like but was told it is off so i went onto mansfield bitter but was told this was also off so i asked for a drink of mansfield smooth and guess what i was told it was off this left marstons smooth crap which was on and was crap the pub was very quiet with no tvs music or customers i was very dissapointed with this pub a short walk along beverley road and i was in my which looked smart there was comfy bench seating and a pool table the lounge to the right looked very smart and food was being served in it there were four real ales on i had a drink of moorhouses chairs plus a few tall tables and chairs for seating there was a separate room which i thought would be used for functions the pub is a marstons house there were three real ales on i had a drink of
