in the mirror 0 this post is dedicated to an event that occured a few weeks ago where do i even begin the preparation for last night began on wednesday i secured dinner plans with a man named seth whom i met through nessa s friend cory to be brutally frank he s a bit repulsive to me but as a favor to nessa and to myself i graciously obliged to reserve a table for the four of us at a fine dining establishment in the city i began to mentally prepare for this occasion by telling myself that it won t be as bad as i am making it out we also took the liberty to invite our friend cassandra the three of us arrived and entered into the venue and proceeded to head straight to the bar to order some drinks while we wait for seth and cory to make their way downtown there were maybe two signs already telling me that i would be irritated by the end of the night 1 we were told we had to wait for all persons to arrive before being seated at a table i think we waited for approximately 30 45 minutes actually i may be exaggerating but it sure felt like a really long time the gentlemen finally arrived and that s when i met seth he seemed to be an alright guy for someone who is shorter than me and a much larger body mass then myself we had pleasant discussions on his hometown in nigeria and he was able to entertain everyone at the table he proved to be great company and i slowly became comfortable with him he was very gracious and even payed for everyone s dinner i thought that was very kind of him seeing as how he was visiting from nigeria although he is no stranger to this city our night continued as we made our way to the hottest nightclub in midtown we were escorted to vip and were immediately offered drinks we looked down at the crowd and enjoyed watching as they lost theirselves to the music and that s where the good fun ended 2 as the music played and the alcohol sunk in nessa and cory seemed to be getting a little comfortable i guess that s when seth thought it was okay for him to make his move his hands creeped up around my back and my waist and whispered in my ear c mon baby let s dance first and foremost the one thing i absolutely can t stand is when a guy is all over me upon our first encounter and especially if i m not attracted to you that is a huge no with that being said he attempted to touch and get close to me about two more times before i exclaimed to the group that i was tired and was ready to go whenever everyone was ready note i am usually not the type to complain when i m out with a group of people nor am i the person that sets the time for when the whole group leaves but at that moment i couldn t take it 3 cory and seth walked us back to our car on the way there seth dropped the baby word on me again and i had to tell him in the kindest way that i could that i don t like petnames like that especially upon first meeting you i thought it was a bit pushy and i felt like he was trying to rush things already calling me baby he said that it was no problem and that it s a good idea to get to know each other first before calling me petnames but as we entered the parking lot he went to grab my hand so he can hold it like we were romantic lovers taking a stroll in the late evening gazing at the stars as if we were characters in a romance novel no no no did you not hear what i just told you and that shows aggression beyond my liking i love an aggressive man but no at that moment i cordially said good night and scolded nessa in the car that was my absolutely fabulous night dealing with seth for the first and last time and i ve taken the liberty to promise myself to never go out with a man that i m not attracted to in the least bit because if he does something i don t like i m kick dropping his a nicky aug 17 what s grinding my gears this lovely monday early afternoon posted by wo man in the mirror 0 i ll tell you but i must ask why is it that when people drive on the interstate and see a cop car they all of a sudden go from fast furious to driving miss daisy from 85 mph down to damn near 40 that makes no sense to me and it aggravates me so just continue to drive normally let your foot up off the gas pedal if you feel you re going too fast when you re about to zoom by a cop don t make it blatantly obvious that you were just being a speed demon and worst of all it makes the driver behind you look bad as well it s simple common sense which people seem to lack nowadays go with the flow of traffic he won t pull you over for that i don t know how many times i ve looked like a douche just because of the person in front of me that all of a sudden wants to slow down it s annoying and i need people to understand that it is not that serious for you to slam on your breaks when you see law enforcement i m posted by wo man in the mirror 0 the inspiration for this post is simple i ve lost all five lives trying to beat the same level that i ve been stuck on for the past three days on candy crush to say i m annoyed would be a complete fabrication of my true feelings for this game i am beyond repulsed at this particular moment in time that this game would want to completely defy my swipes if i want an orange candy thingy to move to the left why would it swipe to the right can someone answer this question for me the inventors of this game clearly do not wish to see you succeed so they make sure the game is designed to fuck you over you know i have one jelly left to pop why would you not give me any candy to swipe that can get rid of that jelly you know i have one more move left and all of a sudden there are no longer any possible switches i could have told you there were no possible switches 15 moves ago and now that you ve reshuffled the damn candy board you expect me to win with just at this point in time no one is reading this i highly doubt anyone knows this even exists then again we never told anyone as it should be because i think the people we come into contact with and will most likely be the subject of our posts would be mad and hate us forever which is okay for the sake of putting a smile on your beautiful faces we have tons of stories prepared for you lovely and
