log in my homelab is not overkill not even a bit my setup unifi dream machine pro yes i need it no it s not overkill at all usw 24 poe i am definitely using all the ports to their full capacity synology nas i need a place to put all my linux isos of course fedora server technically an old mini pc but it runs my 50 docker containers fine docker i run basically everything in docker containers home assistant i run home assistant os on a hp t640 thin client vs average setup on r homelab 2 gateways for redundancy or something 2x 48 port poe switch all ports used 200 tb storage array 1 usage 10gbe everywhere because why not if you don t believe me look at these setups from r homelab original posts are linked you see not overkill at all just because i have a bit of enterprise networking gear and a slight docker addiction doesn t mean my setup is overkill this website is built in next js and is open source kubernetes cluster with at least 6 nodes 42u rack for all the kubernetes nodes notoverkill
