against us posted by the davis at 6 56 am 1 comment monday august 3 2009 update since haley and i have so much time to update our blog here is what has transpired since may 13 1 haley and i went to new york city at the end of may had a blast 2 not sure what happened in june working playing with finley and grayson and saying no to grayson every 5 minutes 3 went to the beach for the 4th of july had fun 4 since the 4th we have had the boys for 3 weeks straight weekends are long kinda fun but just trying to entertain both kids is a job in it self 5 finley has gone back to not sleeping through the night and he keeps haley up she is tired 6 fin s teeth are hurting him he got his two bottom teeth in already but others must be piercing through 7 grayson has diaherra of the mouth 8 took fin to doctor and he weighs 19 8 lbs and that is about all august will be a busy month my dad is coming in haley and i are headed to hot springs and haley is having a baby shower for megan and paul at the house should be fun before we know it starkville will be our weekend home i have pics and video that i need to upload but this is all i have time for right now posted by the davis at 10 07 am no comments wednesday may 13 2009 sorry and stuff haley and i are sorry for not posting anything lately we have been quite busy since last post well here is the skinny grayson has had 2 ear infections hand foot and mouth disease and a serious attitude finley is getting huge he likes smiling and sleeping haley has a larger territory for her job and recently got the title of district trainer for her district her back neck and shoulders have been bothering her for the past two weeks went as far as a mri but everything is negative so it is pt for her now she isnt a happy camper so please keep her in your prayers i patrick am fine switched mortgage companies and i am now working for mortgage strategies in madison so if you are looking to purchase refinance or just talk about msu please call me haley is leaving for dallas next week and i have the kids for 5 days should be interesting please keep me in your prayers after she gets back we are off to new york city work and play that wraps up the month of may time is flying by things and people i miss bass fishing with my grandfather waking up to odors in the kappa sig house living in starkville snow skiing with my dad our cabin at grenada 12 43 pm 3 comments pictures of grayson posted by the davis at 12 39 pm 1 comment a baby story this is the story of how finley banks davis came into this world it all started last tuesday i woke up around 6 30 am and my stomach was hurting so bad it was constant pain and it did not feel like contractions where you have some relief in between each one finally around 2 30 i called the doctor and they told me to come in to get checked out when i got there they hooked me up to the monitors and i was having contrations about 4 minutes apart so sent me over to the hospital to once again stop labor after giving me a lot of fluids and medicine they got the contractions to be about 10 minutes apart that night my doctor showed up around 10 pm that night and he said he would do the c section right then if i had dilated anymore i had not so he made me stay overnight the next morning he decided to send me home even though i was having 1 2 contractions an hour and the hour before i have to take my magnesium i was having 4 5 an hour so back home i went for more bedrest well thursday all day long i could not even get up to go to the bathroom because i was having contractions again when i got up i had to stay bent over because it hurt that bad i didn t call the doctor because i had an appointment at 8 30 the next morning anyway friday morning patrick drove me to the doctor just in case when they hooked me up to the monitors my contractions were 2 minutes apart and i had dilated to 2cm dr wolfe then informed me that we would be having the baby that day off we went to the hospital to wait until he could come do my c section we arrived around 10 30 am and they did all the pre op stuff to me my water actually broke on its own at 12 20 i was wheeled into surgery at 1 00 pm and finley was here by 1 22 pm he was absolutely perfect and even though he was 4 weeks early he does not have a single thing wrong with him no nicu this time it is so weird to have a normal baby that just sleeps and eats all the time i do not have to stay awake 24 7 like we did with grayson to make sure he doesn t choke on his on spit up i guess god decided to bless us with a healthy baby this time after all of the hospital stays and surgery we had with grayson finley had his well baby check up on wednesday and he got an a and i had my incision check on wednesday too it has not gotten infected
