and for other special occasions start off by cutting strips of fabric twice the length of your daughter hair i think flannel works best because it absorbs the moisture here is a video to show you how here is what it looks like when the entire head has been done after sleeping on it unwrap it the next morning this is what the curls will look like next separate the curls all over and spritz with t take as many pictures as i should have with this one but i ll walk you through it start off by parting half of the hair from ear to ear then tie off little sections next do the same to the top this is where you can get creative i did straight parts on bottom but a grid on top you can keep this simple and just stick with straight parts if you want sorry this is where i should have had a picture without everything connected at this point it should just look like a bunch of sectioned off pieces and the hair should just all hang in little ponies every where this part looks tricky but it is really simple combine the top section and bottom section by twisting once and adding in to the next section meet the sections at the back of the head and tie off with an elastic side view from the top with 5 little ponies along the front pull the rest of the hair up in a high pony tail put ribbon on and tie underneath keeping the 5 ponies out on top split each one over the ribbon and finish with 6 on other side of ribbon to hold it in place you do have to lift the ribbon a little to part under it for the second row this could also vary with briads twist unders etc posted by anonymous at 8 43 pm 10 comments labels any length wednesday july 15 2009 remember friendship bracelettes wow it s been a while my little cousin had one of these in her hair so of course we had to try it just make a little braid and elastic the end take 3 or how many colors you like really long pieces of string find the center of the pieces and tie them all together at the top of the braid so there are 6 pieces hanging down start with both strings of one color make a 4 and pull the knot up over the braid and other strings keep going rotating each color every 5 knots or so i probably wouldn t do it during the so i thought i d post their hair i wasn t planning on doing this but ended up with about an hour to do both their hair and mine so here s an easy but dressy style especially with a big bow or flower to match part on the side and start on the small side with a french braid finish that braid at the ear with and elastic pull the rest across and elastic it all together then finish with a messy bun i do the same thing for my girls 1 lauren conrad lauren always has the latest and greatest do s i have also seen her hair just like this only with two french braids and i liked it better just divide two small sections at the front of the hair line and french braid back at an angle next curl all over and spray for hold 2 carrie underwood i pulled the top part of the hair back first to secure the bangs from falling in her face at school then added the top section into the lower side pony last i curled the hair in ringlets and added a flower 3 heidi klum heidi klum can never go wrong i swear again i pulled the top section back first because she has short bangs then i added it into a high ponytail finally i curled the ponytail under in sections forming a bun and securing each section with 2009 3 knots ponies there really is no name for this i really like doing the little knots lately so this is just another variation at an angle start with the front left her left square tie it in a knot and secure it back to the square behind it with an elastic and continue with the others the little sparkly flowers are from claire s they are little spirals that twist into the hair and dress it
