we took little patriot pup for a drive yesterday he loved it we even got to see a deer chase turkeys through someone s back yard but guess what the turkeys won out it was 3 to one so the darling deer took off to the woods to search for happier territory patriot pup was most interested i will enter this card in the challenge at freshly made sketches i used stampin up under my umbrella with all the rain we ve been having here in wi this just seemed like the perfect time to use this stamp set i stamped the umbrella onto dsp to give it a patterned look and then stamped and cut the other images basic but fun below are a few pictures of patriot pup enjoying his ride he s not to sure about the sun roof yet we also have a mama cardinal nesting i m so happy she chose our yard the verse i chose kite stamp set i had such a great reminder when i saw their card we all know that measuring is not my strong suit at all so i took a piece of paper and folded into the squares that modeled the sketch then marked my dsp and cut for the circle i decided to pretend it was the sun so i used a flower for a die to make it look like sun beans shining out of it i thought this kite was perfect keeping with all the little squares i used stampin up deckled circle dies sunshine sayings after the storm kite delight i will enter this card in the challenge at atlantic hearts sketch challenge below is my to pinterest sunday april 12 2026 card 14 for 2026 dear blog readers what an adventure we ve been having here last week we lost power in the ice storm it s common here to lose power in our house especially during the spring summer months with storms but to lose it when it s freezing out was no fun especially while one is sick and still healing from all the surgeries so hubby packed puppy and i up and we went to my daughter s for the day time and then snuggled up with many blankets and clothes at night it finally came back on after 3 days the house was frigid we celebrated my birthday at our daughter s house and also easter she opened up her kitchen to us and we made a lovely meal and our son came up too for the celebration so glad we could all be together even when we had no power we were able to make it happen thank you jesus i will submit this card to the challenge at atlantic hearts sketch challenge the stamps i used in this card are stampin up garden birdhouses paper tags blow is a picture of my birthday daisies from my beloved i loved daisies and dandelions i also included a few pictures of the yard from the ice storm you could hear the branches breaking and then crashing to the ground it was not fun puppy was very concerned too even the seeders were loaded but this lovely cardinal still enjoyed the rain bath even if it was freezing rain the train yard kept moving through it all this is a picture yesterday patriot puppy loves to be outside it was 50 degrees outdoors i call him trouser sometimes because he loves to stand and it always looks like he has short pants on when he does a dear friend lost her mom this past week so i crocheted her an angel in memory of her mom and the fact her mom also crocheted it was my first attempt at an angel so a few mistakes but hopefully not to shabby i just wanted to do something special for my friend also been making coasters again little fella has the sweetest puppy eyes the verse i chose for this card is for my 55th birthday a few days ago it was such a grand surprise i love all things plants trees etc so i searched my stamp collection to find the stipple hydrangea from 2001 stampin up i used layered thoughts for the inside sentiment i will enter this card in the challenge at cas on friday we have another fun challenge for you botanical below is a picture of the lovely hydrangea my friend sent me and 12 for 2026 dear blog readers i love this sketch so much that i made 3 more cards today i m exhausted i will enter this card in the challenge at atlantic hearts sketch challenge the stampin up products i used are springtime smiles storybook life two step stampin easter egg teeny tiny wishes there was a lot of coloring and cutting involved in these cards so that must be why i m so tired and been so irregular lately and i apologize for that still trying to recover god willing i will enter this card in the challenge at atlantic hearts sketch challenge the stamp sets used are from stampin up love what you do blessed beginnings holly berry happiness seasonal celebrations buffalo check i normally would have went the christmas route seeing this darling sketch but i needed a few easter cards yet for the upcoming holiday i love this bunny stamp so i brought him back out to make another card actually two identical cards for my kiddos i used a wobbler on the back again to create movement the plaid is from the buffalo check stamp i also added pearl accent paint to the cute little bow tie to make it shine i love the sparkly green washi tape i added the little splash of color behind the bunny by using a stamp from love what you do it was the perfect size to fit this image below are a few of my illustrations for my scripture journal it has been fun to do but it does exhaust hearts sketch challenge the stamp sets i used in this card are stampin up deckled circle dies teeny tiny wishes swirling frames seasonal celebrations wishing you well i know it s not the traditional green for st patrick s day but i decided to make it happen naturally i ran out of wink of stella for the clover i always forget about that and when i remember it s usually empty instead of tying
