inspired by the mask that was available i ve just been dragging my feet about posting it because it came about at the end of the festival and there was no way for anyone to get the mask if they didn t already have it i m still really bummed that ssg insists on account binding all of the new festival cosmetics since it really hampers the sharing with friends aspect of outfitting that i used to enjoy so much on the plus side it s pretty cool that my level 9 captain who s basically a second cosmetic storage alt named mannoquin can look this badass thanks to the work of all my other alts head mask november 3 2019 by princessteradia 1 comment sneaky dwarves i cannot say enough about how much i love the idea of a dwarf burglar the backstory for the new dwarf race absolutely justifies the sneakiest of sneaky dwarves and while a baby burglar is a tiny bit disappointing to play with just one blade note to ssg burglars need two weapons it did not stop me from making my very own new addition to the never ending list of alts it s always been a little weird to me that the animation for the knives out skill doesn t actually have the character wielding weapons but it is a great way to preview those daggers i made two versions of the outfit one with a hooded cloak and one with the hood lowered to show off the hat my cosmetic slots are keybound for easy costume changes too so no flipping open the character panel just to lower the hood indoors super excited to see what happens when we actually get back to mordor with these dwarves no spoilers i did a quick run through my mordor door and the sheer amount of shadow on the baby dwarf is daunting then again very fitting for the stout axes given everything they ve been through head lesser voice of the west hat dyed steel server after spending the points to veteran status him out of the intro and then spending some time playing paper dolls to find just the right outfit i took him to the shire where i decided to filter off a bunch of things in the map and radar as a challenge to see how far he could get without getting into combat he wound up making it to level twelve at which point i spent more lotro points on gift of the valar and promptly took him to moria with map and radar things still filtered off needless to say the dwarves have been somewhat less than impressed for those interested in watching this deeps this week s anniversary scavenger hunt has a quest that requires lots of orc slaying while i kind of think that s more appropriate to boromir making dead orcs has never been a problem for teriadwyn because killing all of the things is pretty much the champion s job anyway as we ventured into moria to track down the globsnaga orcs among others i realized i d never done a proper moria outfit for her so some emergency paper dolls was definitely in order this cloak has been in teri s vault since moria waiting for its opportunity to be showcased in an outfit i loved the red and orange that the lifting of the dawnless day merited a new outfit it s fairly rare that i do an outfit that s made entirely of quest reward pieces but it just sort of came together that way mostly due to the magnificent cloak that is the reward for finishing book four of the volume four epic story i wasn t quite able to grab a decent full outfit screenshot but i ve included the boots i used for the outfit for the sake of reference in case anyone s curious to recreate the look it s worth noting that the chest piece is actually light armor but the white dye gives it a scale mail sort of look that works something i rarely pay attention to on most days and did the preview thing to see what it looked like said item was long bite a halberd that drops from the urugarth instance in angmar and the trident like appearance inspired me to not only drag the grrlz of middle earth along for a romp through the instance but to find some more sea themed pieces to make my captain his very own poseidon aquaman outfit as it turned out assembling the pieces was the easy part because most emotes in game make your weapons vanish during their animation which made the screenshot process something of a pain the whole point of getting the outfit together after all was to go with the trident weapon so i really needed some shots that showed the weapon while still having some action and then there was the issue of location location location another challenge when your showcase character is only level 33 i think cuthluin is probably happier being a manly man of rohan which is his usual attire on the rare
