jumbo and riddler skip to main skip to sidebar jumbo and riddler 29 april 2013 i meant to do this a long time ago when van was born my mom had the great idea of taking a picture of van every two weeks in the outfit we brought him home from the hosp ital in so fun to see the changes leaving the hospital 18 weeks posted by kt at 2 49 pm no comments 22 march 2013 i didn t pose this playing in his crib right after his nap posted by kt at 3 05 pm 5 comments there s a new sheriff in town like most kids do van is going through the p hase of trying on our s hoes well these were prett y perfect he s pretty quick on the draw workin it posted by kt at 3 00 pm no comments first hair cut so we decided it was finally time for van to get a hair cut and we decided that we d do it at home so nate did the honors now we need to get it fi xed here is a documentary in pictures the smile before the hair cut wondering what in the world is so close to his head no longer smiling lamenting his hair or just plain traumatized not sure if you can tell but there is a puddle of tears on his co ver before and after posted by kt at 2 57 pm no comments trips to visit family in februar y over presiden t s day weekend we drove to visit marne and crai g s family just outs ide of austin tx marne is my sister it s about an 11 hr drive and it wasn t bad at all because we split it into two days we had a lot of fun none of them had met van yet so i m really glad we got to go he loved all of them we had some yummy bbq from salt lick some yummy mexican food went to an awesome park in austin and rode a little train around and went to their stake conference with them it was fun to visit with them the austin area seems like a really cool place to live plus they have sprouts there my favorite grocery store that i used to go to all the time in l a hanging out with his cousins nicole spencer spencer dallin me van nate emily and nicole feeling pretty big on the slide van and marne then two weeks later we flew to holly and preston s house in cumming ga i think we took the cold weather of missouri with us beca use it was pretty chilly and even had snow flurries which delayed our flight we were stuck on the plane at the gate and then on the runway for an hour boo but it was a really fun trip we hiked to the top of stone mountain in the cold then we tried a random german restaurant in the area we also watched movies explored dahlonega and ate some yummy chocolates and went to a yummy restaurant in roswell holly and i went shopping while the boys went to charlie s soccer practice and let s just say i won t be buying clothes for a while i didn t take very many pictures don t know why van and his cousin charlie preventing making my feet cold on the floor the top of stone mountain posted by kt at 2 44 pm no comments 11 february 2013 lately not much has been going on lately but here are some recent pictures he thinks he s so clever poor thing got a little case of pneumonia and had to use a nebulizer but he did really well with it lately he loves to cover his head to go to sleep such a goof but i ll confess he gets it from me posted by kt at 8 23 am 1 comment 10 january 2013 december december through pictures we met jessi and chris at st charles in st louis it s a really great part of the city where they go all out making it feel christmas in the olden days pretty much like from dickens a christmas carol it s a great way to get in the spirit of christmas then we went to dinner and then to the st louis zoo where they decorate with tons of lights the weather was perfect it was a really fun day thanks pinks we got to go home for christmas unfortunately nate only got to go home for not quite four days but we made the most of it spending time with family and a day of skiing and we got a white christmas it snowed on christmas eve and then almost every day after that until new year s day nothing like a get together with the g s some of my best friends from high s chool me cuz rachelle mindy erin m ary soph and megan we missed you jess we ha dn t seen mindy for 8 years way too long one of the forts that nate and van love to build ready for the cold van s first visit with santa he wasn t too thrilled i felt a bit awkward i don t blame him for wanting to get away it s a pretty freaky gingerbread man the army s christmas celebration my boys at the zoo the christmas parade in st charles crazy morning hair reading books with grandpa ridd spaghetti for the first time could have been a lot worse checking out the tree with grandma ridd he really does love baths traditional christmas morning picture christmas eve dinner playing in the snow on christmas day his new train the proctor fam love this family great job steph and jackie too bad van s not looking but
