am long over due for a post but for now i thought i would share our family picture s the photographer http www chaleabryanneblog com was great and i am sad she moved out of state i have to admit we have not had picture s done for a year one big reason was my weight entire post coming soon about my weight loss i have lost a little over 30lbs and feel great i have not been in the 140 s since college sad for me to admit but yes you can do the math i had so much fun shopping for clothes this time because when i looked in the mirror i was happy amazing how losing some weight can change your attitude for life so much when i got my proof disc i found myself smiling because i was proud of myself i felt like i could look at these pictures and be happy i will send them out in christmas cards and give gifts with no self esteem issue it has been a long hard struggle for me but i won the battle with my body this is my favorite of me and the boys i am so in love with this man after 11 years i still am amazed by his love he is not a baby anymore is he when i look at this picture i am one proud momma this one will be going in my living room blown up hope you enjoyed 2 comments birthday party tuesday march 22 2011 by my so called life happy birthday to my big boy logan celebrated his 5th birthday this past weekend i am still in shock that my son turned 5 i still remember his birth like it was yesterday becoming this little boys mom was one of the best days of my life he has added so much love to my life it is amazing how fast they grow i feel like i blink and he is another year older i try to slow down and enjoy my time wit him because before i know it it will be gone the best advice my mother gave me is to always take the time to spend with your children she told me there will always be time for dirty dishes laundry and a clean house once they are gone so if you visit my house might not be spotless but you can find me in the boys room playing farm the birthday boy requested homemade pizza for his birthday dinner his favorite part is getting to put cheese on the pizza he loves to spend time in the kitchen with me cooking i spent the last three weeks planning a huge party for logan we invited his entire preschool class and by thursday last week i had 48 rsvp s yikes growing up i never had huge birthday parties yes my husband thinks i go over board but i love to make there birthday special i rented a local community hall and it was perfect for the party the kids had plenty of room to play and run i didn t have to worry about a messy house or things getting broken my mother in law makes the kids birthday cakes every year the last two years has been really fun because logan can pick out the cake himself we spent hours looking at cakes and he finally picked out a few he liked i really enjoyed planning his party with him this year he knew exactly what he wanted and who he wanted to invite we couldn t have a party without the main chartacter s this was the best family picture i could get i found this awesome puzzle for the kids to color at the local party shop for only 5 00 it was so much fun for the kids and kept them very busy sunday was logan s actual birthday we took him to the park for a picnic and to ride his bike the weather was so nice and jason was actually off work for the day logan preschool party was today once again my mother in law did a great job on the cupcakes i found online she can recreate anything i come up with logan helping grandma pass out cupcakes for snack time he was so excited to have mommy and grandma at his school for his party i hope that looking back logan cherishes the love and hard work that goes into his birthday weekends now i have to go think about having a 5 year old that starts school soon 2 comments family pictures sunday december 12 2010 by my so called life my mom was in town for lucas s 1st birthday about 3 weeks before she came to visit she called and asked if we could do family pictures while she was in town my sister was thinking about moving and it would be the last time all of us would be in one place we have not had pictures done since i was in middle school with my siblings other than my wedding which we missed one of all the sibling together some how so my mom coordinated outfits for everyone which was nice because i did not need the stress on top of the birthday party i was actually dreading pictures because i was unsure if the kids would all cooperate then one of my bff tried to help my spirit by telling me i deserve a new picture because i have lost so much weight then i reminded myself that jason and i have not had a picture alone since our wedding it was a stressful weekend with planning the birthday party and then to add family pictures was just not ideal for me i am so happy that we did them after i got the cd i was very pleased and they are going to be a great keepsake so i started to get excited so as promised 4 comments older posts home
