rip s journal skip to main skip to sidebar rip s journal wednesday september 16 2009 clutter april 19th orchid has become tired of the journey and is anxious for dry land this will be my last entry before we reach our destination my mind is racing and too much it going through it to organize anymore i fear this entry will be a complete mess nareth too beq from us made her her own took control she used beq s emotions against us she played with them trying to pull her more towards her away from us those who would keep her from harm nareth found another one i saw very little yet knew was bad lina i think it was too obedient too much trouble research led to dead ends with every solution there was an out nareth had everything that countered what she was was countered by something else she was i began to tinker with lenses hoping to be able to amplify light hoping to trap her we went to beq s to check on her she was sick dying we saw her break her last breath only to breathe another nareth told us to run that was the only time i agreed with nareth the urchins got interested nareth told them to stay away they wouldn t they got lucky rats she had feed on rats and they were possibly infected a plague like no other was possible death destruction of everything we knew was imminent and when trying to find a way to stop it we were left with the frustration of how does one fight a god we went to beq s to check on her she was strong and with nareth we were cornered fire protecting us from beq and nareth nareth trying some dark magic beq trying to grab orchid already cutting her throat a bit another room they went we tried to leave nareth stoped my path at the bottom of the stairs beq cornering orchid at the top i had hate in my heart but i had to get to orchid i left nareth she flew out the window beq threw me against a wall i heard a scream orchid cut beq before being flung at me beq screamed as fire fell upon her we ran hate still in my heart we went to lab the lenses in tow we set them up at her door to catch her i heard a voice saying burn it and chanting began i placed the lenses in order and the building erupted in flames exploding from what ever was left beq was fine nareth released her she wasn t needed yet i need my rest harsh days will come rip wirefly posted by rip wirefly at 11 48 am no comments angels april 18th as we sailed today i stared into the distance lost in thought nothing to distract me orchid slept through the day while i stayed above the air as my company there came a day when we knew jason would strike but we also thought we would not have our greatest defender and our greatest enemy to aid us we set traps for jason we knew what he needed and we laid plans to catch him off guard he showed up invisible only footsteps could be heard walking we set a cage a faraday cage blocks electricity flanked by fire to keep him from going around as well as to give me strength if needed i walked in the cage to lure him as i closed one side the other side became unable to open i stood in the cage as jason materialized i hit him with a ball of fire to distract him as i ran out the other side he now trapped by himself in the cage he tried to escape to no avail he then stopped and turned invisible the gate opened we knew he had gotten out but no idea how i now trapped looked around me knowing he was near when a voice called from in the cage then out nareth she had come she talked to jason he took energy the thing we had tried to prevent him from doing and nareth began to lose control people thought she had come to save us save us she was there for but only to save us from jason so that she could have a clear shot the events that came there after were a blur then as they are still now the van creed crashed needed help jason traveled by electricity to a platform that they had docked on the van creed told me where they had been and i rushed over nareth behind jason stood next to the cloud angel nareth stood opposite of him jason tried things nareth stopped him the cuckoo s and their automaton showed jason tried to harness the cloud angel it backfired he was pale and ordinary he ran to the cuckoos in rage falling off the edge the cloud angel then was used to send the boys home how i will never know nareth began to scream fire sprayed everywhere the platform began to collapse we escaped nareth fell into the ocean erupting in fire rip wirefly posted by rip wirefly at 11 47 am no comments thursday august 27 2009 is no where safe april 17th orchid grows bored now she spends most of the day either under deck or staring at the distance hoping that land would appear i feel safe on the seas safer than i did sometimes in my own home this didn t protect us from one jason moriarty who tried to take my life and my orchid s life on two occasions in our home once was early in the morning miss viv had come for a short visit as she was about to leave she opened the door and turned to say good bye once more that single action save her life as she was turned back i noticed objects on the steps bombs which she would have stepped on no dubitably killing us all we managed to escape that day with the help of the community even beq who at that point i could barely look at it was a few days later that we were relaxing on the couch when the door opened no one there as i got up to close the door moriarty rose from the ground a battle would ensue with no ground gained by any until my power started to fade as it was draining me to use it it ended in explosions in the house objects flying around as we were pm no comments treachery april 16th i stare at the distance lost in thought today thinking of the reasons why i am really doing this is it for me for orchid or for the common good i wonder if i am just doing this for revenge or possibly to ease my mind to know that she isn t out there or perhaps to prevent her from coming back ever she hurt us in many ways none physically she was a master and emotional pain nareth tricked beq she got her to link her to her nareth was now linked to beq she had many attributes from the living mostly being able to walk about at daylight orchid was there for it and beq played right into nareth s hand beq loved orchid she wanted her nareth pushed her tried to take her but orchid resisted and got away she was easy to forgive i was not another time nareth tried to trick us to get us to fall into her trap she told us how to kill her but said it would harm beq too what we would learn is this was not true it would have saved beq she even went as far as to solicit orchid saying f she spent a night with her she would release beq orchid thought surprising me and then said no which was smart she was testing her and she would not have released her i was disappointed and walked ahead as orchid pleaded we sat on the docks like we had after our first performance and watched the sun rise we got engaged on that spot during that sunrise funny how things put other things into perspective sometimes rip wirefly posted by rip wirefly at 11 59 pm no comments the deal april 15th orchid seems to be slowing down a bit relaxing and taking in all that is around her i greatly enjoy the time we spend together i remember past events and know that i cannot ever take for granted the time i have with her it is all important every second it was a day when orchid beq and i were ice skating next to the now demolished circus outside the palisades wall beq was down for some reason and we were attempting to cheer her up orchid had fallen down and dragged me with her as we tried to stand up pulling each other down nareth came up and beckoned to beq there was something different from her and the professor nishi people talked about i always called her nareth never professor as many had little did we know that this day would protect us and cause us anguish in so many ways nareth made a deal with her that day that she would not harm us and in return beq would take the fall if need be beq chose her words poorly only nareth could not harm us it still left the door open to our minds posted by rip wirefly at 11 59 pm no comments a chance meeting april 14th it is joyful to see orchid so excited to look about gazing over the vast ocean bare and distant occasionally she sees other boats waving excitedly to them a few blasting their horns in response she will get over the initial feel soon i fear but i hope she stays as energetic as she runs around i think back to the time i first met nareth it was quite a few months ago i was sitting in ruby s talking to jim as i looked to see a cloaked figure standing at the door slowly moving to the table she talked to jimmy acknowledging me briefly before she retired from behind me where she had stood not did i know that that chance meeting would influence events to come she knew that i was not trouble to her and she knew i knew nothing of her it was the night after that i sat on the vacant phantasmagorium watching the sun set only able to ascend to the top as a result of my steam boots as the sun dipped below the horizon a voice came from behind me it was nareth she talked to me for a much time to think and remember thought which i can only spill out onto paper it was only a few days prior that a ship pulled into iron bay docking at the ironworks it needed a bit of repair which was quickly handled while in the meantime the captain recounted a tale of his home ravila a town close to 10 days form the shore of babbage he told of a vampire that had taken home there recently keeping out of the way of the residents but still seen flying at nights as i heard this i kept to myself plotting in my head to leave the home of babbage for quite a few days in order to seek out this vampire
