rooclan review rooclan review sunday october 2 2011 first day of school another school year upon us i can t believe brandon has started at the high school 9th grade i remember like it was yesterday that i was in 9th grade i am so excited for him and for all that lies ahead dylan is starting his last year at the elementary school 5th grade there is so much planned throughout the year for him they pack a ton of activities into this year it is strange to think him and brandon will actually ride the bus together next year high school and middle school are on the same bus as the schools are right next to eachother so big so fast posted by rooclan review at 6 14 pm no comments grandma laymon s visit my mom story time with grandma showing off our kitty brandon had flown back from a three week visit out west with my mom riley was definately enjoying his return brandon is bonding with his lizard randy declared a coloring time all had fun participating riley s short cut to get outside if the dogs can do it she can too dylan escorting us to the car in the rain posted by rooclan review at 6 09 pm no comments swimming at grandma s i think riley might have been a fish in a previous life she loves the water love to go swimming and jump off the side the boys were so different at this age they didn t like the big pools they loved playing in the bathtub but when it came to swimming lessons oh the tears and screams just gotta love my pregnant belly ugg always in the way cuddling with grandma to get warm brandon brought his friends kia and niki up to grandma s pool we had a great time decided these were her shirts now trying different ones on i had bought this dora doll for riley as part of a birthday present she did not however come with a backpack riley noticed right away and kept asking where backpack i tried to explain she didn t have a backpack then started saying it must have gotten lost she was very concerned that this dora didn t have her backpack her grandparents gave her money for her bithday i went on line to see if i could purchase riley a dora backpack how fun it was to find this dora backpack that came with a coin purse that was also a backpack and it was the perfect size to fit her doll dora doll is complete now with her own backpack riley enjoys putting her backpack on and looking at the map that came with it finding her way posted by rooclan review at 5 42 pm no comments july 4th parade in skippack we have had a fun tradition of attending the skippack 4th of july parade each year this year was no exception my nieces kiana and lorelai were staying with us and had fun attending with us along with our good friends chris rick and niki randy s dad jerry even showed up for the festivities the kids were ready with their bags for the candy and toys that are thrown out to the crowds anticipaitng what is coming riley was very interested in what was going on riley enjoying her cousin lorelai her piece of candy and the yellow ball that she received posted by rooclan review at 5 35 pm no comments happy 2nd birthday riley ok so when i origionally posted this it read riley s 1st birthday apparently i am having issues with my girl getting older i have edited the post to reflect that she in did actually turn 2 we don t want her stuck as a year for too long i can t believe our little girl is two years old i still remember when the doctor announced it s a girl to which randy quickly added and she has red hair riley has been such a blessing in our life her brothers love her so much and she loves them we love you a beautiful day to celebrate my brother was having as much fun as the kids it was fun to be surrounded by friends and family even the missionaries came for dinner riley loves dora so dora cupcakes we had my nephew joshua helped put all the little picks in she definately enjoyed dylan getting ready for the water guns did i mentioned she likes disney too she had fun discovering the pinata loves her lolipop s she was loving her special day swimming bubbles and running around outside with friends cousin miriam brandon chillin out cousins kiana and lorelai gearing up for the water gun fight also found the sidewalk chalk and taking her baby doll for a walk hanging out with auntie mandy ended the day with a ride on the quad with daddy she loves to do this she is actually upset in the picture because he has stopped so i can get a picture a new birthday dress from our good friend miss chris another one of her new outfits from our good friend miss chris thanks to everyone who shared in riley s special
