a second story yet sometimes life just happens my plan is to work on another one and get it out this week sarah posted by unknown at 9 51 am 1 comment email this blogthis share to x share to facebook share to pinterest wednesday february 17 2016 and so the stories begin every miscarriage and everyone s physical and emotional response to it is different each person deals with loss and stress in different ways because of this i have decided to start something new i have asked the people who have received something from us if they were willing to share their stories with us we have been met with all positive responses from those who have been asked if we could share their stories due to privacy concerns i will not be sharing names i will try and get a new story out each week as of right now we have five stories to share over the next five weeks let the stories begin our first story comes from a women who found out she was pregnant at a very difficult time in her life prior to finding out that she was excepting she had spent 10 days in the hospital psych ward she had been battling major depression and anxiety and had recently begun having suicidal thoughts after her 10 day suicide watch she was given medication and sent home after only being out of the hospital for only three days she had to be taken back because of an allergic reaction once back in the hospital for her allergic reaction it was discovered that she was pregnant this news came as a complete shock to her then came the scary news the medication that the doctors had put her on for depression and anxiety was dangerous for her pregnancy one of the medications was even a category x this type of medication has demonstrated fetal abnormalities and has had positive evidence of human fetal risk so she had to stop taking the medication at once right after she found out she was pregnant she made an appointment with an obgyn to have an ultrasound as they brought up the image our mother to be noticed that there were two babies twins sadly just moments later she was informed that one of her babies did not have a heartbeat she was six weeks along she says that it was the worst day of her life she was able to carry the other baby to term and she now has a beautiful four year old son she is so happy to have her son to hold in her arms but her heart still aches with the loss of her other child if you share to pinterest friday february 5 2016 new orders of the new year complete hey everyone it s been a busy first month of the new year for rows for remembrance we have expanded the services that we offer and we have taken on new orders the first set of orders for the year have been completed and sent out in the mail today i will be posting pictures soon we are also going to be trying something else this year here on our blog we are going to begin to share the stories of some of the people who have come to us to have some thing made to remember the life of their child ren we will not be including the name of the people just their stories if you already have a blanket or cross stitch plan on applying for one or just want to share your story you can just message rows for remembrance on x share to facebook share to pinterest tuesday december 29 2015 2016 here we come it has been quite some time since shaina made her last post a long three years have past and some changes have been made i have known shaina for as long as i can remember and was so happy to help take up some of the work load that she was is under i myself am not a mother nor have i experienced the loss of a miscarriage but i was there for shaina and i saw first hand the heart breaking experience that it is and am proud to to be apart the ministry that she created i am no where near as eloquent and witty has shaina but i will do my best we have been working a lot via our rows for remembrance facebook page it has been a great outlet to reach people and minister to those moms and dads who have suffered a loss more changes other than me will be taking place with rows for remembrance soon the new year is almost upon us and as the year changes so does rows for remembrance our mission is minister to those mother s father s who have suffered the loss of a miscarriage it is a way for them to remember their little one s as always we will continue to offer memory blankets for those who want one but beginning in 2016 we will also be offering a framed cross stitch work the choice of how you want to remember your little one s will be yours happy new year sarah posted by unknown at 3 29 pm no 2012 hiatus is over it s been almost a year or over a year i ve lost track this time last year i was in a pretty physically difficult pregnancy i didn t want to share here because i know how painful that can be to some mamas who haven t had their rainbow yet i apologize profusely for that i also apologize for falling off the face of the planet due to numerous computer crashes i m currently working mainly from a ipad or phone so please forgive any autocorrect failures and the inability to contact some mamas after their blanket was completed email spam filter i don t really know we are going to be changing the format of application you will now have to submit your mailing address at the time of application these blanket will remain 100 free but if you would like to donate 2 for each blanket requested to go towards shipping i would appreciate it we also will only be taking 10 applications at a time mainly so that i do not get so overwhelmed this ministry took off so much faster than i ever expected i m still i m shock i wish there was no one to minister to with this but there are and i want to help as much as possible i have had two personal friends lose babies in the last 6 months their babies will be first so i will open up the application page for 8 more applications i will then post here when that is full and will post again when it can be reopened when we are down to
