the thatchers the thatchers est 2005 wednesday november 7 2012 boys candy hunting and more boys here s another picture update the thatcher 5 on halloween trace was supposed to be a little pumpkin but would only wear the hat cardy went trick or treating with daddy he cleaned up pretty good and couldn t wait to bust open the suckers cardon was sick on halloween but he fought through it this guy seriously loves his mom every time i pick him up he likes to snuggle his face in mine and give me big hugs i love it if you follow me on facebook you know about trace s surgery here he is right after poor little fellow so happy to hold him after it was over he had to wear this bandage for two weeks he handled it like a champ after six weeks he just got the stent removed and is happy as can be again you can tell it bothered him quite a bit trace spends a lot of time on the floor now he s crawling all over the place he already knows football happiness chillin in the crib can t wait until they can really play together these boys are my everything my other everything went out this weekend and brought back meat for the family we re hoping he has the same luck for the elk hunt in december storms that we ve dealt with so far this summer this is shot from our backyard the dust storms and thunderstorms from the monsoon are easy to deal with it s the two cute monsters below that are giving us the most grief these days this is our little trace he s gotten so big so fast he s a great little baby always quick to flash a smile he s already started rolling over guess i need to start strapping him down never had to do that with cardon usa usa cardy really misses his cousin kaylee he really loves his cousins he especially loved abby when she came to visit he s a proud big brother too rusty s dream two boys to teach the ways of sports here s cardy s b day cake i made from scratch four layers baby that s good for me had a fun little swim party with cousins at grandma and grandpas trace so cute on his blessing day we were lucky to have wendy laurel and amy visit for the blessing this face makes it all worth while thanks again amy for the awesome blanket posted by rusty and julie thatcher at 8 25 pm 7 comments saturday march 31 2012 overdue yep that s right i m 40 weeks and 3 days i m still feeling pretty good but definitely ready for trace to be here i just can t wait to hold him and see what he looks like i have been doing everything i can think of to get him to come down but he s just super comfy in there i guess cardon was the same way judging by how short my torso is you wouldn t think they would like it in there but i guess not i guess we will just have to wait and see what happens cardon is keeping me super busy so at least the days go by fast i so hope he loves his little brother he loves babies so i am sure he will but i know it will be a big adjustment for him and me well at least we know next time i post trace will be here we ll have lots of baby pics posted by rusty and julie thatcher at 9 43 pm 5 comments monday february 20 2012 i can t believe i ve let my blog go well yes it s been since july that i last posted on my blog i really don t have an excuse except i guess pregnancy really takes a toll on a person well pregnancy and a crazy toddler to chase after i ve been pregnant since july so i m just going to say that s why i haven t posted anyway i vow now to try and be better at it especially since a new little one is on the way and i know my family will be dying to see him things have been going really well and this pregnancy has been pretty good i really can t complain although rusty will say differently i m just at that stage where sleeping is a joke because it kills my hips and back and i have to pee like every 2 hours i do feel extremely blessed though to be having another baby and am so grateful to the lord for giving us an opportunity to have another baby boy his name will be trace jeffery thatcher and i just can t wait to meet him and have cardon become a big brother he absolutely loves babies and i hope he will love this one anyway i hope you enjoy the following pics i know some of the pics are from christmas but whatever family pic on christmas eve we tried to do the nativity with the kids this year but they really didn t get oh well it was still really cute grandma got all the boys matching pjs jonas was sleeping so he wasn t in the pic he looked cute too he was a happy boy on christmas morning it was so nice to have mike and amy here for christmas its was also nice to have all my brothers with me but i m not going to lie i was missing my sisters and yes that is a stain on my shirt from eating its my downfall in life cutest little man ever cardon was playing in the back yard and when i went to check on him this is how i found him just relaxing on the old patio furniture he loves his blocks grandpa and grandma thatcher got each of the boys their one wagon for christmas these things are awesome they have a little cooler and everything they also have seats with seat belts so little ones won t fall out cardon loves his and plays in it all the time all you that left az have got to remember this feeling your rock lawn stabbing your feet cardon doesn t seem to care though oh just the everyday pants on your head he wouldn t keep his pants on so we just put them on his head instead trip for us and let me tell you it did not disappoint oregon is hands down one of the most beautiful places we have ever been cardon loved it there he slept better in oregon then he does at home he especially loved grandma and grandpas guest room thank you mom and dad sarah david and kids and joan for making it such a fun and memorable trip for us we can t wait for the next one we were glad to get out of the oven that is arizona we ve never seen a forest like this before cardon loved playing in the water hitchin a ride from dad me sarah and emma enjoying the ocean view this pic looks like we were photoshopped in the beach is so beautiful at sunset 4th of july parade in port orford there was tons of candy to go around cardon especially loved the suckers this place was sooo cool we sat and watched these para sailers for a long time we couldn t help but go back to the beach again and again beautiful bandon beach cape blanco lighthouse cardy enjoying the weather in portland we took a trip to the tillamook cheese factory free samples are the best before the trip we celebrated cardon s first birthday i can t believe he s already 1 it really is crazy how fast that year went cardon has been the sweetest little boy we could have asked for i feel so blessed everyday to be his mother those 18 hours of bringing him into this world and the crazy first days afterward were 100 worth it i love this little man with all of my heart he didn t quite know what to do with the cupcake at first you can t tell from this pic but this was a sad day for us my sis wendy gave us this fish a few months before cardon was born and he had been in his room ever since he was there when we brought cardon home from the hospital and served as his night light for the last year on sunday he sadly died and i m not going to lie i cried i know it is just a fish but he really was a sweet little thing and cardon always loved to watch him eat i will miss him but maybe we can find another one to fill the
