your blog and wanted to know what your honest opinions on glaucus atlanticus were one of my favorite animals sea slug daily answered i ve actually been putting off covering them because i wanted to do them justice dd thanks for giving me the prompt to do them today s sea slug is thus glaucus atlanticus commonly known by many different names including the blue sea dragon and the sea swallow it s very unusual for a sea slug for many reasons and is not only beautiful but also adapted to a very unlikely niche it doesn t move along the sea floor but instead moves upside down using the sea surface tension to stay afloat they can thus move using winds and ocean currents and are much more mobile than most sea slugs these incredible little creatures feed on many different prey including portuguese man of war which is not the most dangerous prey for a sea slug ever but is still very impressive they also like many other sea slugs steal the stinging cells of their prey my honest opinions are
