waterpark fun perfect for family fun the kids were so happy bouncing around the indoor waterpark we spent hours sliding down the family tube slide pure joy another highlight was the holiday magic twinkling lights everywhere and santa making an appearance it seemed like a scene from a christmas movie it was a bit pricey but all things considered still reasonable 0 helpful date of stay december 2024 2 nights family with children room indoor waterpark missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury wrote a review on 04 dec perfect 9 0 i liked the fact that i didn t have too leave until it was time to it is has everything a family needs without having to adventure out the television was a bit outdated and not the best reception the room was just average in terms of frills and space the beds were too small and not that comfortable the bathroom was also on the small side and i m only 105 lbs the coffee maker was cheesy and made horrible coffee not the way you want to wake up in the morning friday night was a zoo there with a lot of kids running around after 11 00 p m i would suggest that the hotel staff do a better job with that in terms of noise control but for the most part we still enjoyed our stay and the staff was very accommodating 0 helpful missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury c cathy canada wrote a review on 02 nov great 8 0 we thoroughly enjoyed the place and its adequate and particularly nice breakfast the property was pretty standard and absolutely amazing with extremely friendly staff at the reception desk perfect location to attractions like storytown train that was just a walking distance from the hotel moreover it was close to the indoor water park and the theme park the breakfast was full of great meals such as coffee muffins yoghourt and pancakes 0 helpful date of stay august 2023 missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury p paul canada wrote a review on 24 oct great 8 0 adequate and incredibly nice lodge indoor waterpark queensbury m mike united states wrote a review on 21 oct perfect 9 6 it was an easy location not far from the water park and the great escape we got a room with bathtubs 0 helpful date of stay march 2023 missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury wrote a review on 20 oct perfect 9 2 we arrived early on a staurday 11am and they checked us into a clean room right away instead of making us wait until 4pm everything was as expected the kid s club activities were fun i was disappointed in scooby there was a dance party in the lobby around check in time and scooby was very stiff and didn t interact much with the children there was also a giant sasquatch which at first i thought would scare all the kids but he was so enthusaiastic about the dance party it made up for scooby s blah performance also the hotel held an extra 300 one night stay on my card even though the room was paid well in advance which is rather inconvenient 0 helpful missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury wrote a review on 13 oct great 8 6 the staff was friendly and understanding i lost the extra water park band i had purchased for my husband and they gave me a replacement i speical events for the teenagers should have been announced several times through the day people are so busy runnning around that they don t pay attention to flyers there should be an automatic annoucement every 20mins regarding the extra activities available to teenagers also better planning of teen party would be good there was only a very small room the golden birch no disco lights and the lights were very bright not a party atmoshpere at all the worst part was that when i was trying to book the hotel and had questions no one answered the phone i called johnny rockest and left three messages with the manager and no one called me back very unprofessional 0 helpful missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury wrote a review on 09 oct perfect 9 4 the water park was the highlight for the kids they couldn t get enough of it the only negative aspect is that the water park opens at 10am checkout is at 11am no late checkout and you are only allowed to stay until 2pm on the day of checkout in our case the park had to close down for an hour during this time it would have been easier if we could ve checked out a little later instead of having to rent lockers and change in the changing area it was a little crazy the convenience of changing in our room would have made a big difference 0 helpful missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury wrote a review on 28 sept perfect 9 6 this is a clean friendly hotel with its own free small indoor water park it is entirely family small children oriented with cartoon characters and all across the street is the full sized park so many children running around till 10pm lots of children having fun noise 0 helpful missing great escape lodge indoor waterpark queensbury wrote a review on 27 sept great 8 6
