around this ole blog hope everyone enjoyed the holidays our holidays were good but busy my sis brother in law nephew were in town so we spent a lot of time with them new year s eve was very quiet we stayed home my mom her husband my sis bro in law nephew came over leah had 3 friends come spend the night ty has been sick with an unbearable cough cold for the past week w are hoping he can go back to school tomorrow i want to do a quick post with my favorite projects of 2015 i didn t do as much scrapping or crafting this year so i hope i can come up with 15 here they are in no particular order and if you can get through the entire post there is a giveaway at the end 1 i loved the way this card turned out it started with a sketch from sketch n scrap 2 this layout uses mostly bella blvd products started with a sketch from sous 3 this page also uses bella blvd goodies and began with a sketch from my scraps more 4 these mason jars were so fun to decorate for valentine s day featuring flair from the crafty pickle 5 i loved the capture collection from basic grey this layout began with a sketch from my scraps more 6 this page uses a mix of basic grey s capture collection simple stories i am collection which was probably my all time favorite collection of the year 7 here i mixed i am with october afternoon s saturday morning love the end result 8 there is a lot going on on this page but i love it the subject matter 9 this simple page began with a sketch from msam 10 this card was created for cas ual chic using cas ual fridays stamps 11 here is another page using a sketch from msam it was so fun designing for audrey 12 this page had me pulling out lots of old supplies i love that i finally used them 13 this card was also created for cas ual chic i really enjoyed using string on my projects this year 14 i loved this line from pink paislee even though it s a couple years old a true oldey buy goody 15 and lastly is this simple layout that i created to play along cas ual chic christmas thursday december 3 2015 what s happening hey y all i know it s been a long time since i have been around this ole blog and i have a lot of catching up to do first i want to share a gift bag that i recently made embellished with flair from the crafty pickle by the way the shop had reopened so you can find all your flair button needs and more there and lots of new products have ben added i added the hearts flair button to the top of the fabric rosette and love the way this simple but sweet gift bag turned out while it s not a christmas gift bag it will be perfect to present to my daughter with a small gift or gift card for her 13th birthday next week i am at a loss for words as we embrace on teenagehood i can t believe leah has reached this stage already i must say for the most part we are pretty lucky she s a great kid speaking of christmas he holidays are you ready i am almost done shopping however have not done much in the way of decorating we hosted thanksgiving dinner for the family here this year so we were pretty busy preparing for that now i seem to have lost all motivation to get ready for christmas hoping i find it soon we did have a special guest arrive on december first ty was so excited to see countdown when he got home from school the other day he had been asking when he would arrive for weeks the season is upon us make it a december daily flair leah otp the crafty pickle ty wednesday november 25 2015 a favorite memory hey y all i know i have been missing for a very long time i haven t been doing much in the way of crafting lately life has been busy with growing kids one of which will be a teenager in a couple weeks wish us all luck i am trying my hardest though to get caught up on older photos that need to be scrapped and getting my kids albums organized it s a big undertaking but i love making scrapbook pages revisiting old memories this one is one of my favorites my son loved his red rain boots when he was three and in them he discovered the love of jumping in puddles i will never forget how happy he was when we returned home from an errand he was able to splash in the puddles this flair button is the perfect compliment to my page it is the favorite memory button from the i added it on top of a chipboard circle which was placed on top of a cork circle for added dimension i love adding thread on with a trip down to south carolina baseball practice tournaments cheering gymnastic homework on i feel bad that i am so far behind in sharing my projects i m starting with the first sketch for october from my scraps more 115 here is the fun sketch and here is my layout i started with some ink splatters in black gold then added my papers under the photos my papers are from october afternoon s saturday morning collection i used a mix of embellishments from simple stories crate paper my flair button is from the crafty pickle my next project is another layout using sketch 116 from msam guest designer jessy christopher here is my layout i used papers from my stash grabbed some embellishments from around my space i love using items tat are floating around on my desk getting them on a page and my last layout is also featuring flair from the crafty pickle i used a button from the gold foil collection that i absolutely adore and one from the life documented collection i started with a sketch from let s get sketchy this month and kept my page pretty simple i love this photo of my two kiddos along with their cousins on st patrick s day i wanted it to stand out and the flair buttons placed at each end of the picture really help to anchor it yet also make it pop i chose the oh happy day button to compliment the beige and green on the page the today flair button worked well with coloring distressing there is stitching on the die cut circles at the bottom of the card i distressed the edges of my papers colored some of the circles on the white paper i used the star fri dies the
