left right and centre but that does seem to be happening lately i guess at some point if you consistently submit your work the run of rejections occasionally turns into a run of acceptances it s just the law of probability i totally understand if you prefer not to read on as it can be disheartening when someone appears to be getting published and you re not that said if you like my work then of course read on to find out more so wildfire words have published two of my pieces when you re ambushed by could have beens and let me sleep on it for their latest flash fiction 150 competition all entries had to be no more than 150 words there were two prizes one for best write and one for best audio it was wonderful enough for me that they published both in the online anthology but in a lovely twist i also won audio runner up for the piece when you re ambushed by could have beens plus a little payment of 15 which will buy me a few coffees while i m writing thank you wildfire words ️ you can i was never here so you probably didn t see me flit through the trees there where dimension shifts and branches wave and hide my photosynthesis i m friendly but i m strange so people tell me things and i hold it all within as one big energetic embrace if i falter in my walk toward things to do this is still a flux of good timing for whatever follows for i emerge into the stream that is always it when he sings cue fantasy of me roller skating down this street and vibing to this song what am i talking about i can t roller skate okay cue me trying to roller skate down this street to luther vandross whilst occasionally crashing into people but having a good time nonetheless do you remember when people used to walk around with boom boxes whatever happened to that do you think we ought to can find the latest issue here and all my pieces in succession here i can t believe they accepted the whole bunch to be honest they were my rogue pieces that didn t quite fit in anywhere so i m really glad they found a home with ahc all rejected at some point or other with the comment being that they were more art than poem and to be honest i am fine with that it s such useful feedback so i submitted them more as art this time and they got published i m glad cos i loved creating them especially since erasure poem art has been a part of my artistic practice for quite a while now and it s
