the checketts skip to main skip to sidebar the checketts tuesday june 23 2009 motorcycle trip i am sure most have you have heard that me and brian went on a motorcycle over to the california coast up to oregon we had a blast i would do it again in a heartbeat i just wanted to share some pictures of our trip i hope you enjoy them us on the california coast the redwood national forest the trees were huge i have seen them before but it was a long time ago and i don t remember them being so big this is one of the light houses we got to see yes i was taking pictures as we went on the motorcycle i was so scared that i was going to drop the camera but i didn t want to miss a picture of this bridge we got to go on it was so pretty i tried to get most of the bikes that were in our group of people but it is hard to see all of them there were 7 bikes total this is silver falls we were actually able to walk behind the waterfall it was the perfect end to our trip this was actually the last place i got to see yes i cheated and flew home from portland i needed to get back to work it was such a great trip also on our trip is was mine and brian s 2 year anniversary it has been such a great 2 years brian is such a great husband and father i couldn t ask for a better person to spend eternity with i love you brian posted by megan at 7 31 pm 1 comment wednesday april 15 2009 kaylee s birthday kaylee turned 5 today crazy i know i can t believe my girl is 5 and starting school this next year she is so excited tonight we had some of mine and brian s family over for cake and ice cream she got lots of new toys and loves the make up her aunt traci gave her thanks traci i attempted to make and decorate her cake this year but all i can say is i cooked it but my mom decorated it when i started to ice it the cake started crumbling and was getting in the icing just then my mom walked in the door to the rescue and she took over thanks mom she said that the icing was a little thick so i just pictures of a few things that we have been doing here is madyson on thanksgiving kami at my work let me borrow this cute outfit and bow for her first thanksgiving she is getting so big kaylee has been taking dance lessons from rythmn connection for a few months and her first performance was at the november fest in logan she was so excited to wear make up and dance for her family her cousin brynly dances with her also the picture of them together i thought was pretty cute then my brother in law jeremy took some family pictures for us at the temple and here are a few of those pictures me and brian stuggle a little bit with keeping our eyes open but we were able to get a few good pictures of us yes my eyes are open they don t look like it but they are posted by megan at 9 38 pm 5 comments tuesday september 16 2008 connie lea francis bowman in loving memory november 18 1935 september 16 2008 brian s grandma passed away early this morning due to cancer her passing away has affected our family greatly connie was such a wonderful person with a kind and loving heart i knew her for a few years and i feel like there was so much more i could have learned from her i would like connie to back to work it was so hard to leave my girls kaylee was used to me being home so she was a little sad when i had to go back they are going to a daycare up here in preston on monday s and tuesday s then on wednesday s thru friday s they will be going to my sister s house i hope that they don t kill my sister she also has a 5 year old and a 2 year old so she will have her hands full i am hoping that next year come the end of the school year i will be able to quit my job or get a part time job so i can be at home with my kids more but i have to admit it is a little nice going back to work blessed madyson on the 4th and it went really well just thought that i would share a few pictures of her in her dress thanks to all of the family and friends that came we actually started running out of food and drinks because so many people came it was good to see everyone we thought it would be fun to put madyson in cousin skylee s carrier with her the funny part was that neither one of them implement in preston in the parts department he has worked there for 3 years now is a full time fire fighter and first reponder for franklin county megan was born and raised in smithfield utah at the age of 18 she moved to boulder colorado with her parents there she was married and had her daughter kaylee after 2 years of marriage she divorced she moved back to smithfield in oct of 2005 then in march of 2006 she meet brian she currently works at jack s tire and oil in the accounts payable department kaylee was born in boulder colorado is going to daycare at spot for tots in preston she gets to go and see her dad in colorado every other month for two weeks she loves going to spend time with her dad and grandparents watching sports of all kinds and going to the park a few blocks away
