rak attack rak attack thursday october 27 2011 hey it s been so long since i ve blogged anything that i only have one more month until by holiday background will be appropriate again nice maybe i ll get around to blogging about something soon or maybe not posted by heather at 12 24 pm 2 comments wednesday october 6 2010 first pet in january nick brought home our very first pet fish the girls each got one sydney named hers bella and zoe named hers snow white i think it was so long ago they were so excited when nick walked through the door waiting patiently with their friend ezra for dad to get it all put together i m really glad i started this post back in january because there is no way i would have remembered sydney saying this sydney mom bella doesn t know where we are me you should tell her where we are sydney okay bella daddy brought you home to us said in the most tender caring way sadly a couple weeks later snow white died on zoe s birthday zoe handled this very well but what a bummer bella was getting too big to try and fit another fish into our small tank so we decided to wait for bella to get bigger and then we would set her free in my parent s pond that day came on memorial day 2010 sydney was very excited to release bella that night we picked up two more fish so that zoe had another chance of having one again their names were bella and snow white well few days later zoe s fish died about a month later we finally got around to getting yet another fish for zoe this one died the day after we bought it bad luck i guess they both agreed to sharing bella 2 because mom is done buying fish bella 2 is holding on strong despite the few and far between feedings posted by heather at 6 00 pm 5 comments friday october 1 2010 moab in may my brother eric and his family invited us and my sister michelle to go camping in moab with them this was our first time camping in a tent as a family the girls were very excited i was worried they wouldn t go to sleep at a reasonable hour and would keep the other campers near us awake but they did great our campsite at the moab koa girls waiting patiently for their cousins to be awake while we were there we went for a bike ride to a really fun music park the kids loved this but i m pretty sure nick loved it even more zoe and michelle we went to the car show and enjoyed a yummy turkey leg this was really funny all the kids flocked to michelle to help her eat her turkey leg we visited arches national park loving the feeling of the soft sand on their feet zoe made it to the top lots of lizard chasing and had tons of fun at our campsite thank you eric and brittany for inviting us to moab we had a blast posted by heather at 1 41 pm 5 comments wednesday september 29 2010 vegas in june nick and i went to las vegas with nick s cousin and his wife tyler and charlene took us to to see penn and teller at the rio it was an amazing show their illusions were mind blowing we loved it that s penn jillette playing the bass before the show started penn and teller were kind enough to stick around after the show to take pictures with anyone who wanted one nick and me with penn tyler and charlene with penn all of us with teller thanks for an amazing trip tyler and char you guys are the best posted by heather at 6 00 pm 1 comment wednesday july 7 2010 the dinosaur hunt in june my family had a cabin workday to get some things done at the cabin my dad had an adventure to keeps the kids busy a dinosaur hunt adventure the plan was to go search for dinosaur bones the first night at the cabin but it had been raining for days leaving the roads extremely muddy and it was very cold outside so instead he handed out all the gear the kids needed to go hunting in the morning the kids woke bright and early it was very cold at the cabin from all the rain so we had everyone bundle up tight grandpa has the perfect vehicle for dinosaur hunts finally the kids got out and did some searching on foot where they found dinosaur poop ashton was worried he got poop on his boot underneath the poop we found dinosaur eggs the kids were so excited for the eggs to hatch we needed to soak them in warm water for a couple days it was really hard for the kids to be patient most of the eggs had some help cracking open sydney is adamant that her dinosaur is real she was very anxious for her dinosaur to hatch so she helped open the egg it was hard to see the dinosaur s eyes because it had not finished growing the next day she had to have the dinosaur take a bath with her the water made the dinosaur grow a little bit
