tiff n dave tiff n dave wednesday september 8 2010 teagan s 1st bath i have never really done this before so i am kinda learning as i go that goes for blogging and motherhood both i am going to try to put many of teagan s firsts up here as well as tell stories of his life along with stories of mine and dave s life we will see how it goes the first thing that i really have worked on is teagan s first bath he received his first bath in the bathtub not just a sponge bath labor day monday september 6th it was quite the ordeal he was perfectly happy to be naked but the moment i sat him in the water he started screaming poor little guy sounded like we were torturing him or something i tried to keep it short but to poor teagan it was not short enough finally when we were done i wrapped him in a towel to dry put him in a diaper and massaged him with baby oil i than put him in a night gown and sat him in the vibrating rocker he fell asleep in no time which was a huge relief considering he had been a bit cranky with gas bubbles and constipation all day it makes me wonder if i don t want to give him a bath every night to help him sleep if only it wouldn t dry him out completely i guess i will just stick to the nightly massage in hopes that it helps anyway we did get pictures of his first bath and i did do a few little scrapbook pages with them let me know that you think enjoy tiffy customize your own free scrapbook posted by tiff n dave at 3 43 am 1 comment email this blogthis share to x share to facebook share to pinterest labels 1st bath tuesday august 10 2010 welcome teagan at 5 08 am today teagan scott swearingen made his debut after nearly 36 hours of labor tiffany is exhausted but all is well and baby teagan is healthy and happy he came into the world weighing 8 pounds and measuring 21 inches exactly happy momma new family proud papa grandma moment tiff s mom grandma moment dave s mom aunt amanda aunt seren aunt seren and cousin scottie winking at momma beautiful boy so sleepy these are just the first few pictures and bare minimum details when the new momma and papa get a chance more details should follow guest post by aunt amanda posted by tiff n dave at 9 44 pm 2 comments email this blogthis share to x share to facebook share to pinterest home subscribe to posts atom followers blog archive 2010 2 september 1 teagan s 1st bath august 1 about me tiff n dave view my complete profile watermark theme powered by blogger
