team boston skip to main skip to sidebar january 1 2010 i resolve this post is the first post on my new 365 blog one of my resolutions this year was to start a daily blog to keep me inspired to use my camera to document my own life i am still going to use this blog but i won t be putting all of the posts on here just the important ones so if anyone is interested in following my new blog the address is www teamboston365 blogspot com or just click on the button on the top right side of this blog welcome to team boston 365 for the past few years i have contemplated starting this blog but i never quite got around to it with all of the craziness of the past year i have had a tough time keeping up on our own little family and my own life if all goes as planned i am hoping to post once a day for all of 2010 i am really hoping that this blog gives me a little motivation and accountability to use my camera to document my own life however boring it may be today is the very first day of 2010 and already i almost forgot to make my first post so i am off to a great start for my first post i wanted to talk about resolutions i am not the type of person who likes to wait for a new year to start something i feel like if i put it off i will never actually get around to it but even though i feel like this i still faithfully make my list every single year some years my lists have been pretty elaborate and completely unrealistic other years i have managed to keep them pretty simple some years i follow through with everything and some years i don t do a single thing on the list after the whirlwind of last year i have felt like my life needs a little simplifying so my list this year is pretty short here are a few of my 2010 resolutions 1 have a little more fun 2 read these a little but i can t get enough of all the extra cuddling and snuggling with my little guy is it wrong to feel just a little sad about the fact that he is starting to get back to his normal busy self again 0 jeni boston at 11 33 am september 24 2009 elephants on parade i had good intentions of posting some pictures from owen s two birthday parties and the demolition derby we took him to because nothing says happy 2 nd birthday like a trip to the san pete country fair demolition derby and i still might because i have a couple good stories about that demolition derby this morning we were invited by this friend to the gateway for the elephant parade because the circus is in town this week they had a little parade and marched all the elephants down the middle of the gateway they also had clowns little ponies and a couple floats but the highlight of the parade is of course the elephants they all marched down the street in a line holding onto each others tails it was fun to see them so close after the parade the kiddos and i had a fun afternoon just hanging around downtown salt lake i forget that there is so much to do there we ate ice cream by the gateway fountain rode trax visited grandma at work and checked out all of the new construction downtown it always amazes me that my kiddos can be so crazy at home but when we are out in public they are little angels i really think i birthday fun coming soon 2 people showing their love posted by jeni boston at 2 04 pm a night at the farm i took lily and owen to wheeler farm the other night for a little picnic after our picnic i wanted to try to get a couple of nice pictures of them but i was pretty much destined to fail miserably my first mistake was taking the kids all by myself it is tough to get a great picture when you have someone helping so all alone it was almost impossible to keep them in one spot for more than two seconds then there was all the animals the dirt and the dozens of other photographers that were there that evening there were distractions galore we ended up having a really great time anyway we checked out all of the animals owen almost fed one of his fingers to the chickens lily had a great time teaching him what noises all the animals made we played pooh sticks on one of the bridges for almost an hour and by the time we left they were both so worn out that they were asleep before i pulled out of the parking lot so when i got home and uploaded all of them i was actually shocked that any of them turned out halfway decent so here s a couple of the nice shots but here s a little peek of what most of them looked like taking pictures of my own kiddos is so much more challenging for me i made it a goal to do something like this once a week so maybe with a little practice it will
