magazine hello hello i m so excited to stop in here after a more than adventurous trip across the united states to atlanta georgia for a long buying trip to let you know that a special event occured whilst i was away gatherings magazine is now available and ready for your viewing pleasure some of you may have already had the chance to see the magazine but while i was off taking care of business all i could think of was gosh i wish i had a nice soft lounge chair by the side of a pool right now so i could sit down and enjoy a cool drink and a copy of gatherings magazine so i encourage you to in the press seasons summer webtastic tuesday june 10 2014 how it s all coming together hello hello i ve found the happy spot for my new hello sign from the farm chicks show so pleased it fit where i wanted it to go that i was still able to get the little industrial shelf in too now to wash the little bottles that came with it start applying labels made with my vintage labeler it should match up with what i ve already got going on over at the other shelves just as pleased as punch it all came together how i d hoped it would now to think up what to do with all the other fun items i found at labels thefarmchicks thrifting junking wednesday may 28 2014 as the lilacs fade hello hello oh what a month may has been with 3 family birthdays mother s day all the gardening spring type projects going on my month has flown by but before i forget whilst the last blooms on my lilac trees fade i wanted to share some of the prettiest blooms i was able to capture with you here oh how i love may all the pretty flowers it brings now it s time to move on to the roses foxgloves but that s just fine with me soon the kids will be out of school we will be seeking shade from the hot sun but for now beach bag beauties hello hello how are you are you gearing up for some summer fun it s been gorgeous weather here the last few days i m dreaming of the beach so what better thing to do than whip up some beach bags yep you guessed it vintage goodness whipped into shape with a little ingenuity elbow grease some of these bath towel beach bags have pockets made from matching washcloths but others don t all have a happy bit of blanket stitching however which is my favorite part to do the idea to do this just hit me one day the rest is history each bag has it s own personality i can t wait to inspired i know i am my garden hasn t looked this good in a few years however on dreary days i ve been working on some new decor in my living room dining room since i ve been collecting purple toned items over the past year or so i decided to give radiant orchid a try yesterday i woke up with a terrible stomach flu today i m feeling a bit better sadly i m not 100 yet so instead of working on projects i decided to share a few photos here hoping to keep myself motivated to complete the projects at hand once i m back to normal of course thankfully it s only about a 48 hour flu it seems like it s going around our whole county i m praying my hubby kids don t end up with it so for now my vases will remain unfilled lacking the pretty lilacs i see outside my window but i m thankful for the beautiful view tantalizing carrot of future possibilities dangling right in front of me i believe it s quite possible that the good lord allows us to be sick from time to time so we may appreciate a
