new year s eve review sunday december 7 2014 shavemob stocking stuffer review i was contacted by shavemob to do a review of their products for their up coming stocking stuffer campaign i was happy to give it a shot i was sent a handle and 4 cartridges of 2 different blade type the 2 blade types i got were the 4 blade and 6 blade types the 6 blade cartridges are on the left with one of them on the handle the 4 blades cartridges are on the right before i do my review here is some info on shavemob shavemob is a website were you can order shavers for cheaper then in store and they are mailed to you a one month supply is 4 cartridges of your choice all of the cartridges fit the same handles so you don t have to worry about trying different blade types it s not something that is automatically sent to you so you only get what you want when you want it which is awesome in my opinion for christmas they have special stocking stuffer kits starting at just 9 99 and shipping is free with all orders the kit contains 1 handle men s or women s 2 month supply of blades 4 cartridges and a mustache monocle sadly the only thing you don t get is shaving cream but i have been told that starting early next year it will be something they will offer to check out the kits go here shavemob stocking stuffers they also created a little video that i actually find very funny lol so on to my review i normally use the intuition shaver since i don t like messing around with shaving cream i didn t want to go out and buy any shaving cream so i decided to use up some random bottles of conditioner if you haven t tried it you should give it a go i ve used it before for shaving and i think it works just as good a closer look at the blades the 6 blades come in individual packages and the 4 blade are all in one package i found that the blades were a very good quality and worked very well my shave felt just as smooth if not a little better then my normal razor i ve used it several times since i got it i have not tried the 4 blades cartridge yet but i plan on it i think this is a great deal when you make your first order you pay 3 00 for the handle but after that it s just 9 99 for 4 cartridges holographic studs review i was sent a few items to review from born pretty store i ve been really behind and busy with life but today i have a post reviewing one of the items i received they are small round holographic flat studs i love them because i hate when my nails aren t smooth and these are pretty flat and can easily even out with topcoat this post will be short sweet and to the point you can find the studs i used here round holographic studs this is the package they came in there are several and can last for many manicures after looking at these pictures i m not really sure what is on my ring finger so we will just try to ignore that lol i used the studs over 2 coats of o p i just spotted the lizard which is pretty awesome but not the point of this post these studs are pretty awesome for application all i did was press the stud into slightly wet polish and topped it with a clear top coat at first the stud looked cloudy but as you can see once the polish dried it was clear these are a great way to add some nail art without doing a whole lot i highly recommend these to everyone the studs also come in silver gold and another holographic pattern you get a baggie with 100 friday january 31 2014 blue eyed girl lacquer review the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated if they even exist yeh i have no idea i ve been mia for quite some time but i am here to share a wonderful review of a soon to be released valentine s polish collection i was contacted by julie from blue eyed girl lacquer to do a review for her upcoming valentine s collection called my indecisive valentine i was sent two of the six polishes to review flash forward fantasy a nude with violet flakies and a strong pink to gold shift matte finish 10 00 idealistic future clear based glitter topper packed with gold pink purple and red glitters in hexes squares glass dots diamonds and hearts 8 00 lets start out with flash forward fantasy if you don t already know i wear cns nails so they naturally have a french tip when they are bare so i decided to show a couple bases and my naked nail starting from the top 4 coats on naked cns nail 1 coat over white base 3 coats over white 1 coat over black i normally don t like matte polishes but i think it worked very well with this polish and it helps show of the shimmer sadly the camera didn t want to pick it up as much as it showed in real life i really like this polish it is very close to the perfect nude for me it applied very smooth with no issues for the final swatch i applied a topcoat because i felt it showed of the shimmer a bit more just another to show the shimmer the second polish is idealistic future i applied this glitter topper without have to dab which is always a plus in my book sadly i didn t see a lot of hearts but maybe i just needed to shake the bottle a little more i love glitter toppers and i love this one it can be used over so may different colors i really liked both polishes and i hope to glitter topper matte nude review valentine thursday december 5 2013 neon waterfall nails man i am a horrible blogger hangs head in shame i m not going to make any promises about the future i am going to try and get myself to post more but i guess it will happen when it happens so on to my nails i ve been seeing waterfall nails for awhile and i finally decided to give it a try here is my inspiration the nailasaurus seems to have started this look i may be wrong but i still love it if you click the picture it will take you to all of her waterfall nails and a tutorial here is my try at it but first please excuse my dry and ugly cuticle and i missed a little bit of clean up it was late when i was doing them and i was tired please forgive me my sins lol ok here goes for the base i used sinful colors skylark it is a great polish the formula was smooth and almost totally opaque in one coat i did two for good measure i really like the color i m not really sure how to describe it but i don t like i really have anything else like it in my collection using a striping brush i went through the colors i had picked out and placed random strokes on each nail after i had used each color i went through them again to fill in any gaps i had the polishes i used were china glaze i m with the lifeguard one of my favorite neon greens china glaze hanging in the balance essie the lace is on this is a beautiful purple polish i just loved it even just seeing it as a few strokes on my nails china glaze pool party revlon hypnotize sinful colors glimmer after i finished i decided to add a coat of northern lights topcoat because i love sparkle all in all i like how it turned out both hands turned out a little different my right hand my left hand i like my right hand a little better because i made the stroke a bit longer the left hand looks like too much of the base color is showing i really like how this turned out and i plan on trying it again in the future with different
